Part Fifty-One 오십일

A few days later, we all stand in the concert hall. Ever since Taehyung collapsed, he takes it slow. He still practices a lot, but not as much as he used to. Thank god. Because I don't ever want to see him like that again! I still feel the fear of seeing him that tired and weak...

The guys are practicing their solo songs for the coming tour. Currently, Suga gets ready to practice his solo song Seesaw. Jungkook gets on the stage and starts doing the dance routine. Everyone laughs as he even tries to rap the song. "Okay, you think you can do my song? Proof it!" Suga says. He gives Jungkook his microfoon and gets off the stage.

"Okay, deal! But then you have to do my song!" Jungkook says. He puts his earplugs in and gets ready. The music starts and Jungkook starts to rap and dance. Kaylee takes a few photos and I film the entire performance. Jungkook knows almost the entire routine and raps almost the entire song.

When the song ends, everyone laughs. "Not bad!" Suga laughs. "Who wants to do my song?" Jungkook asks. "Can I do Taehyung's?" Jimin asks. Taehyung laughs, "I want to do Jimin's!" Everyone gets excited and Jimin gets ready to do Taehyung's song Singularity. Jimin surprises everyone by singing the entire song perfectly and nailing the dance routine.

Then it's Taehyung's turn. He performs Jimin's song Serendipity. Also Taehyung knows the entire dance routine and all the lyrics. I am amazed by his amazing performance and film it all with a huge smile.

"Maybe you should perform this one instead," I joke. Taehyung smiles wide, "I'd love to!" Jimin laughs, "No! It's my song!" Everyone laughs.

In the end, everyone performs someone else's solo song. Jin ends up performing Jungkook's Euphoria. Namjoon performs Jin's Epiphany, J-hope performs Namjoon's Trivia: Love and Suga performs J-hope's Just Dance. They are even better than I thought they would be. Everyone really knows each other's lyrics and dance routines.

"Okay, since we're all in the mood to have a laugh, let's do Anpanman next!" Jesse says. Everyone gets excited. Kaylee and I get off the stage and the music starts. When Taehyung starts to sing, a huge bouncy playground comes to life. A huge inflatable slide and other bouncy buildings appear on the stage.

I laugh as I look at the guys, bouncing on and off the inflatable playground. They sing and rap the song and climb up the slide. As they slide down, they start to laugh and stop singing. Kaylee and I laugh and take a lot op photos and videos of the guys.

When the song is over, the inflatable playground stays on stage. "Normally we would take it down halfway through the song, but since it is the first time we're using them, I'll give you all a moment to enjoy it," Jesse says, "So I'll give you a few minutes to be a child again!" The guys cheer and run around like kids.

Jungkook and Jin run towards Kaylee and me. "Come join us!" Jin smiles. Kaylee and I put our cameras down and climb on the stage. I feel like a child again as I jump on the playground and climb on top of the slide. The others join me. Taehyung grabs his phone and films us as everyone slides down. We all laugh as we bump into each other at the bottom of the slide.

"Can we just practice the song again?" J-hope laughs as he climbs on top of the slide again. "Sure!" Jesse laughs and Anpanman starts to play again. Everyone starts to sing again. Kaylee and I run around with them and sing along with the parts we know. J-hope comes to me and puts his arm around my shoulders. He starts his solo and I try to join him, even though I don't know all the lyrics. We both have a laugh and then go up the slide again.

On top of the slide, I find Taehyung. He sings along to the song while he lays down and smiles at me. I come closer to him and give him a big push. He rolls down the slide, but grabs my foot and drags me down with him.

At the bottom of the slide, we fall on the stage and laugh. Before we can stand up, Jimin comes down the slide and lands on top of us, followed by J-hope and Jungkook. We all laugh, but the guys try to keep singing as well. Then Suga, Jimin, Namjoon and Jin join us as well and we all form a huge pile of singing and laughing kids. Instead of joining us, Kaylee grabs her camera and takes a few photos of us.

When the song ends, we all stand up again. "You get to do this every show of the next tour?" I ask them. They smile wide. "Yes!" Jimin smiles. We all get off the stage and drink some water.

The inflatable playground shrinks again and goes back into the stage. Within a few minutes, it is like nothing happened. As we all take a seat, Fake Love starts playing. Everyone looks up, but the song stops immediately. "That went wrong," Jesse laughs. Kaylee looks at me, "I feel like dancing..." I laugh and jump up. "Can you play it again?" I ask as I climb on the stage. Kaylee follows me and laughs.

The guys laugh as Kaylee and I start to dance to the song. Even though it has been a while since we've done this routine, it goes pretty well. Jimin gets excited and joins us on stage. He takes his position and does the routine with us. The other guys jump up as well and everyone joins us on stage. Since Jungkook and I have the same routine, it is difficult to find a way to both do the routine and still be in the right place. We bump into each other a few times, but we are both able to do the routine. 

When the song ends, we all laugh and give each other a high five. "You were great!" Jungkook says. "Thank you," I say and bow my head. Jungkook laughs, "Are you preparing for going to Korea in a few days?" I smile wide, "Of course I am! I am the only one of the crew who's never been to Korea before!" Jungkook smiles and puts his arm around my shoulders. "Don't worry," he says, "You'll love it!"

I get serious, "I'm not afraid that I won't like it, I'm afraid I won't fit in." Jungkook looks at me. "Don't worry, you'll fit right in!" he says, "It will be weird for the first few days, but you'll be fine!" I smile wide and feel a little more calm already, "Thank you."

"Okay, if everyone is ready, let's move on to the next song," Jesse says, "Let's do a few songs for the performances of April." Everyone gets serious again. "Let's start with Best Of Me!" Jesse says. Everyone gets in positions and the song starts.

By the end of the day, the guys practiced over twenty songs. They are more than ready to perform the songs in front of the fans, but I understand there are a few small things that need to be fixed before then. Like the timing. Even though it looks amazing, Jesse still thinks it can be better.

The team of BTS never fails to remind me they are just a team of perfectionists. I'm glad I know they don't work too hard. I mean, they do work hard, but they know when to take a break.

The guys of BTS also never fail to remind me how hard they work for their fans. Everything they do, is for them. They always think about ways to give the fans what they want. If it's a new song, a show, a photo or a video for social media, everything needs to be perfect, so the fans can enjoy it the most. They say they owe everything to them and they always try to give something back to the fans.
