Part Twelve 십이

I sit on the sofa with the remote control in my shaking hands. The Late Late show will start right after this commercial break. I am freaking nervous... I have a feeling Taehyung will do his dare. If it even was Taehyung... Which I am still not hundred percent sure of. But maybe that's just my insecurity and fear talking...

When the commercial break ends, my heart beats faster than ever. I am so excited to see them on the screen again, but I feel so freaking nervous for Taehyung. Yana sits next to me and smiles wide. "Are you ready?" She asks.

"Nope!" I laugh. The show starts and James comes in the screen. "Tonight is the night the entire team and a lot of fans have been waiting for! Because, our guests tonight are... the handsome... the wonderful... the talented... BTS!" James says. The audience cheers loudly and even Yana and I can't help ourselves and cheer along.

The camera shows a closed door of a dressing room. Then the door opens. All the boys of BTS are seen in the dressing room. They smile wide and wave to the camera. They all look amazingly handsome like always. They all wear a blouse and skinny jeans.

Of course, my eyes go to Taehyung. He smiles wide. His hair looks incredibly good. But when doesn't it? I haven't seen one single photo where his hair didn't look good!

"Hey guys! How are you?" James asks them. "Good!" They all say. "Awesome! Thank you so much for coming! We are very honored to have you on our show today!" James says. "It's our pleasure!" Namjoon says. They all nod in agreement. "Thank you! We'll let you get ready. You will join me on the sofa tonight and you will also perform for us, right?" James asks. "Yes!" They all say. "Can't wait!" Jimin says. James laughs, "BTS everybody!"

The audience cheers loudly and the boys smile wide and wave. Some of them do the Korean heart sign and I see Taehyung creates a peace sign with his fingers and holds it in front of his eye. I smile wide. "Cutie," I say softly.

The show goes on. The other guests of tonight's show are Will Smith and Stephen King. I've never heard of Stephen King before, but apparently I live under a rock, since he is a famous author. In my defense, he writes a lot of horror stories, which is not something I read at all.

After James' chat with both Will and Stephen and another commercial break, it's finally time for BTS. Once the commercial break ends and the show starts again, we see James behind his desk.

"Welcome back everybody!" He says, "A lot of fans are waiting for this moment, so let's dive right into it! Ladies and gentleman, here they are! The K-popband from the century, the leaders of the music charts... BTS!"

The audience cheers and some girls start to scream. A purple curtain in the studio opens and BTS appears from behind it. They all smile and walk into the studio. On their way to James they high five some of the girls in the audience, who nearly faint.

James welcomes them all with a hug. BTS takes a seat on the sofa and the chairs behind the sofa and James takes a seat in his chair next to the sofa. The audience gets calm again, but I feel everything but calm. My heart beats in my chest like I am about to interview them myself.

"Welcome guys," James says, "Welcome on the show and welcome in this beautiful country! What do you think of the USA so far?" Namjoon - who sits next to James - looks at his band mates to let them answer the question. "I think it is amazing! The ARMY is insane!" J-hope says with a proud smile. 

James smiles wide, "They are indeed. They spammed us with all kinds of questions they want me to ask you!" The boys laugh. "Like what?" Jungkook asks. "Well, a lot of questions I am not gonna ask you since we're on national television," James laughs. The boys laugh with him.

"But I do wanna ask you about your tour, which will start in a few months," James says. The audience cheers again and the boys smile wide. "How does that feel? Are you ready to get on the road again?" James asks. "Yeah!" Jin says, "We can't wait!" "We love to see the ARMY from all over the world again," Jimin says.
