Part Twenty-Two 이십이

I park my car in the parking lot of my work. I get out and go inside the building. When I enter the office, I see Mick standing beside my desk, talking to Carmen. When I come closer, Mick spots me and smiles.

"There you are!" He says. I look at the time. I'm still early. "Here I am," I say. I put my bag on my desk and go to the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee. Mick follows me. "How was your weekend?" He asks me. I think back to the most amazing weekend ever and smile wide.

"It was incredible," I tell him. Mick smiles, "Sounds great! What did you do?" We go back to my desk. I take a seat on my chair and Mick gets another chair and takes a seat close to me. "I went to a party," I tell him, "It was really fun! Although I might drank a little too much." Mick smiles, "I'm glad you had a great time! Did you go with Yana?"

I shake my head. "Yana had to work all weekend. The party was with a few other friends," I tell him. "Well, I'm glad you had fun," Mick smiles. I nod, "I did! How was your weekend?" Mick sighs, "boring! I spend all weekend editing photos." I lift my eyebrow, "You worked all weekend?" Mick smiles, "No, it was not for work. Just for fun, except it wasn't fun at all."

"Oh, well I'm sorry for you," I tell him. Mick smiles, "Thanks! So, next time you go to a party, please invite me!" I laugh, "Yeah!" But there is no way I would invite him to a party with BTS. That would be way too uncomfortable! Besides, if there will be a next party, I know I want to have some time with Taehyung. I won't be able to do that with Mick around. But I won't tell Mick that!

"Good morning!" I hear the loud and happy voice of Sophie say. Mick and I turn around and see her practically hopping around. "Good morning to you too!" I laugh. Sophie hops over to us and hands us both an envelope. When I see my name with beautiful letters on the front, I smile wide. "Is this what I think it is?" I ask. I open the envelope and see it's an invention to her wedding.

"No way!" I smile wide, "this is incredible!" I stand up and hug her. "Please save the date! I can't do it without you!" She says. I smile wide and let go of her. "Of course!" I tell her. I also notice a card where I need to write my name along with the fact if I come alone or if I bring a guest. Just the thought of bringing Taehyung with me, makes my heart skip a beat. I would absolutely love to go to the wedding with him... Me in a pretty dress... Him in a suit... Yeah, I would definitely love that!

Sophie notices me staring at it. "Don't feel guilty if you don't bring anyone! But you are also allowed to bring a friend, that's okay as well. But you are also welcome to come alone," Sophie tells me. I smile thankfully, but don't say anything else. I really hope Taehyung would come with me, but I have no idea if he has time for something like this...

"I'll let you know," I tell her with a smile. Sophie smiles as well. "A few friends of my fiance are coming as well, they are all single!" Sophie winks at me. I roll my eyes, "Don't you dare try to set me up with one of them!" She laughs, "They are really nice you know!" Mick puts his hand on my shoulder. "Why don't we go together, as friends?" He suggests, "I don't have a date either!" I smile. I want to tell him I might actually bring a date, but I know there is a huge chance that I won't. So I just smile at him. "That's also an option!" I tell him, making sure I don't refuse nor accept his offer.

Mick smiles wide and nods. He looks at the time and stands up. "It's time for me to get to work. I'll talk to you later! But thanks for the invitation, Soph! I'll definitely be there!" Mick says. "Great!" Sophie says with a huge smile. I know how excited she is about getting married. I bet inviting us was also a really exciting thing for her.

Sophie goes to her own desk and takes a seat. I start my computer and grab my phone. I notice Taehyung has send me a message.
