Part Seventy-Eight 칠십팔

The next day Yana and I lay on the sofa and watch a movie. It is late at night, but we are in no mood to sleep yet. After Yana came back home yesterday, I told her all about my amazing time with Taehyung. 

Just like Taehyung told me, he contacted Yana before he came to my office. Yana told me how excited she was that Taehyung was looking for me. She was very happy to give him my location and to spend the night at Jim's place to give us all the space and the privacy.

Today I feel the happiest I have felt in a long, long time. I was okay with my life a week ago. I was okay having a job I liked and I was okay living without Taehyung. I accepted the fact that I was never going to see him again, let alone be with him again. So I tried to make the best out of my life without him. Or, so I thought.

Now I realize I wasn't happy at all. I haven't been happy ever since Taehyung disappeared from my life half a year ago. I pretended I was happy for the people around me and for myself. At first, I just wanted everyone to stop worrying about me. But later I also tried to convince myself that I was happy. Lately, I actually believed it. I believed I was happy with my life. I believed I didn't need him in my life to be happy. But I was wrong. Kim Taehyung stole my heart when we first met. From that moment, I wasn't able to live without him. I just didn't know it yet.

The movie ends and Yana turns around to me. "Another movie?" She suggests. I look at the clock, it is almost midnight. "Yeah, why not?" I smile. Yana smiles as well and starts to look for another movie to watch.

After a few minutes, we haven't found a movie that seems fun to watch. Yana looks at me again. "I have no idea what to watch," She confesses. I smile and take a moment to think. Then I smile wide. "You know, I saw someone uploaded the entire BTS concert of a few days ago on YouTube... We could watch that?" I ask. Yana starts to laugh, "Hell yeah!" I laugh and play the concert on the TV. The concert is filmed the day after our concert, so it's really new. The quality is really bad, but we just roll with it.

Even though you can barely see their faces, I see huge smiles on their faces as they perform on stage. They look really happy. Their voices sound amazing and their dances are on point, just like always!

When we're halfway through the concert, Yana turns around to me. "They are performing as we speak, right?" Yana asks me. I look at the time. "No, they should be back in the hotel by now," I tell her. I grab my phone and decide to send a text to Taehyung, just to ask how he is doing and how the show went. He must be really tired after the show, so I just want to send him a quick text before he goes to sleep.

Alyssa: Hey Tae! How are you? Did the concert go well? I hope you can get some rest! See you tomorrow :D

I am about to put my phone down, but then I notice he is online and he already read my message. I smile wide as he texts me back within a minute.

Tae <3: Hey! Still awake? XD I am doing great. The concert was amazing! LA fans are the best! I had a lot of fun!

Alyssa: I'm glad! Yes, I am still up. Yana and I decided to have a movie night! But you're right, I should probably go to bed soon.

I notice how he reads my message, but he doesn't respond anymore. I guess he is just busy or maybe he is just really tired. I quickly send him a good night text and put my phone down again.

Yana and I watch the rest of the concert. We sing along with every single song and have the time of our lives. When the concert ends, we both stand up and decide to go to bed. When we clean up the mess we made while we made dinner together, the doorbell rings. I feel confused and look at the clock. It's nearly one in the morning. But then I realize, it must be Jim. Yana told me he had a night shift. But I didn't know he would come over after his shift ended.

"I thought you gave Jim a key?" I ask her. But Yana looks confused. "I did... But I didn't know he would come over," she says. I laugh and walk to the door. "Neither did I!" I laugh. I open the door, but am even more confused with what I so. Or actually, who I see.

"Taehyung?" I ask with a small laugh. Taehyung stands in the door opening and smiles wide. "Hey," he says, "I hope I am not interrupting." I laugh and immediately feel happy to see him. "No of course not! Come in!" I tell him. He smiles wide and steps into the house. He wraps his arms around me and hugs me tight. I still feel confused, but hug him back.

"What are you doing here?" I ask him as we let go. "I missed you," he says, "And I really wanted to spend the night with you." I laugh and feel my cheeks blush. "Is that okay?" He ask as he shows me the bag on his back. "Of course!" I laugh, "I missed you too!" Taehyung wraps his arms around me again and kisses my cheek.

Taehyung really left his hotel after a busy concert and came here just because he missed me and he wanted to spend the night with me. How did I ever deserve a man like him?

I move my hands to his cheeks and gently kiss his lips. "You are always allowed to come over, babe," I tell him. I see a small spark in his eyes as his beautiful smile grows. "I'm glad," he smiles and kisses me back.

"Good to see you again, Taehyung!" Yana smiles. Taehyung and I let go and turn around to her. Taehyung smiles and hugs her quickly. "Good to see you too, Yana!" he says, "I am sorry for barging in like this!" Yana laughs and hugs him back. "No problem. As long as you make her the happiest girl alive, I am good with anything," Yana smiles and winks at me. I smile wide at her words and feel like I could melt any second now.

"I will try my best," Taehyung tells her and looks back at me. I feel my cheeks blush as he looks at me with a big smile on his face. "Guys, you make me shy," I tell them and try to laugh it off. Yana and Taehyung laugh as well.

"Well, I will go to sleep now," Yana tells us when we all stopped laughing. "Good night," I tell her and hug her tight. "Good night. Be a little quiet for me, okay?" Yana asks me with a wink. I roll my eyes, "Oh shut up!" We all say goodnight and Yana disappears into her room.

I turn around to Taehyung and catch him at checking me out. I feel my cheeks blush, but pretend like I didn't see it. "How are you feeling?" I ask him, "You must be really tired after the concert you just had!" Taehyung nods, "Actually, I am. But if you're not sleepy yet, we can just watch a movie or something."

I smile, but shake my head. "No, I am a little tired as well. So let's just go to bed, okay?" I suggest. Taehyung smiles and nods in agreement. He grabs my hand and follows me to my bedroom. As Taehyung takes off his clothes to get ready for bed, I have to force myself not to stare at him. But just one glance at his amazing body and I am lost in a stare.

When Taehyung looks at me, I see his cheeks blush. I quickly look away and feel my cheeks blush as well. He just caught me staring... Oops... "Sorry," I quickly say and get ready for bed myself. Taehyung smiles and walks over to me. He puts his hands on my hips and pulls me closer to his body. "Don't apologize," he smiles and softly kisses my cheek, "You are allowed to do that." I smile wide and feel my heart skip a beat.

I move my hands to his neck and kiss his lips. I immediately feel how he kisses me back. His lips form a smile against mine. "I love you," he says as our lips part. "I love you too," I tell him and put a small kiss on his nose. Taehyung laughs and I see his cheeks blush a little more.

We get into bed and I immediately wrap my arms around him and hold him tight. Taehyung puts a soft kiss on my head. "Sleep well, baby," he tells me. I bring my face to his and kiss his lips softly. "Sleep well, babe," I tell him, "Thank you for coming over." Taehyung smiles wide, "Thank you for having me." I feel my cheeks blush, "Any time!" We both lay down and close our eyes. Listening to his relaxing heartbeat and his soft breathing I slowly drift off to sleep.
