Part Sixty-Four 육십사

The big screens on the side of the stage, turn on. I feel everyone gasp and catch myself on doing the exact same thing. Then a music video starts to play, Epilogue: Forever Young. Everyone screams and sings along with the song. Yana and I do the same, of course, but we try to spare our voices for the real show. More and more music videos are played on the big screen and I just feel everyone's tension add up.

As I look around the room again, I notice a few girls behind me staring at me. I look away and look at the beautiful music video of Euphoria, but I can't help but overhear their conversation.

"She looks like that girl who edited herself in photos with Taehyung..." One girl says. "Do you think that's really her?" Another girl says. "Well, she actually really looks like that girl that was spotted on the airport with Taehyung when he went to Texas!" Another girl says. "Oh my god, you're right!" "Wait, is she his girlfriend?" "No, Tae said these photos were edited!" "But who is she, then?"

Yana turns around to the girls with an annoyed look on her face. "She is an ARMY who would like to enjoy the concert," Yana says. The girls look at her with scared looks on their faces. I bet they didn't realize we could hear them, even though they literally stand behind us. The girls stay quiet and Yana turns her back to them and looks at me. "Don't listen to them," she whispers. I smile, "Thank you." Yana smiles as well and puts her arm around my shoulders.

As the music video of Fake Love starts, we both focus on the screens and sing along with the music. I am able to ignore the girls behind me - who stopped talking about me, thank god - and enjoy myself even with all the tension I feel in my bones right now. Every muscle in my body is shaking and I feel like I could throw up, right here, right now. I know it's not just the excitement of the concert, it's the fear of seeing him again...

The music stops and the lights go out. Everyone starts to scream and I feel more and more nerves in my body. I might explode before the guys even get on stage! Yana grabs my hand for support and we both scream at full power already.

The big screens in the middle of the stage move and loud music blasts through the speakers. I can literally feel the beats of the drum in my toes. The lights move over the stage and flicker on the beat of the music. Then the stage is surrounded by fireworks. Through the smoke I can see seven people appearing on stage. Everyone around me screams as loud as they possibly can. It feels like the entire concert hall starts to jump as the guys on stage start to dance and we hear the first beats of Idol.

They all wear skinny jeans with a white shirt and a fancy jacket with an amazing golden touch to it. Damn, they look really good! My eyes find Taehyung within the first few seconds. I notice his beautiful - now kind of pink - hair, his amazing moves and his beautiful face. I can't move my eyes away from him. I can't believe he stands right in front of me! I feel my heart jump and dance along with him, like it connected the first second I saw him.

Everyone shouts the fanchant, what wakes me up from my stare. I can't even get myself to join everyone during the fanchant, I am way too caught up by this man in front of me... As they start to dance the routine and start to sing, I finally tear my eyes away from Taehyung and look at the others. They all look incredibly good and wear the same outfit.

I start to sing along with the song, thinking I would be unnoticed for at least a while, but then I see Suga's eyes on me. He looks at me during their dance and smiles wide. I smile back at him and wave a little. He can't wave back at me, because of the dance routine, but I am sure he would've if he could.

As I hear Taehyung's incredible voice blast through the speakers, my heart skips a beat. It has been way too long since I last heard his amazing voice. But it still sounds as good as it always did! I even close my eyes for a split second and let myself enjoy the sound of his live voice in my ears. But then I quickly open my eyes again to look at the amazing guys in front of me.
