Part Ninety-Three 아흔삼

Taehyung's mother just starts telling me about the time Taehyung got his drivers licence, when Taehyung and his father join us in the kitchen. Taehyung laughs when he sees the photo album on the kitchen table.

"So this is what you two have been doing!" He laughs. He comes to stand behind my chair and puts his hands on the back of my chair. "I was showing Alyssa that you were not the easiest kid," Taehyung's mother laughs. Taehyung brings his hand to his neck and smiles a shy smile. "I wasn't that bad..." He tries, but his dad shakes his head. "You were the worst, son!" He laughs. I look at Taehyung and nod as well. "Your mother showed me a lot and I can confirm you were not an easy kid," I tell him with a wide smile. Taehyung laughs. "So I bring you here and all you do is gang up on me?" He jokes. We all laugh.

Taehyung's mother stands up and wraps her arm around her son's waist. "Sorry, honey, you also had your sweet sides," she tells him. Taehyung smiles and wraps his arms around her as well. "I am happy to hear that. I try to be a better son," he says a little serious.

His mother lets go of him to look him in the eye. "Nonsense, Tae! You are the best kid I could ever ask for! Well, besides your brother and sister," she says. Taehyung smiles wide, "I am glad." He hugs his mother and I see a happy smile on both their faces.

When they let go again, Taehyung looks at me. "Are you almost ready to go? It is already getting late and we need to leave early tomorrow," Taehyung tells me. I look at the time and see it is already past nine. I didn't even realize it was that late already. His mother and I just started talking and she showed me these amazing photos that we both completely forgot the time.

"Then you should definitely get going," his mother says, "You should be well rested for your trip tomorrow!" She looks at me and smiles. "We will continue this another time, okay?" She asks. Seeing her happy and genuine smile makes me smile as well. It makes me feel like she is really excited to meet up again. When we arrived here a few hours ago, I never thought it would go like this. I never thought his mother would actually ask me to come over again because we had such an amazing time. But that is exactly what is happening right now.

I smile wide and nod. "Yes, of course! That would be lovely," I tell her. His mother nods, "Great! Then we will! I will look forward to it." She opens her arms to hug me. I quickly stand up from my chair and hug her back. "I will look forward to it as well," I tell her, "Thank you for the amazing time and the amazing pizza."

His mother laughs a little and lets go of me. "I am glad you liked it. It was great meeting you, Alyssa," she says. "It was great meeting you too," I tell her. Taehyung's dad walks over to us as well and offers me his hand. "Until next time!" He says with a wide smile. I smile as well and shake his hand, "Yes! We'll meet again soon!"

Taehyung says goodbye to his parents as well and then I follow him to the door. Taehyung grabs Yeontan's stuff and looks at Yeontan, who stands right next to us. "Are you coming, buddy?" Taehyung asks him. Yeontan jumps up and barks happily, like he knows exactly what's happening. We all laugh and Taehyung opens the door. Yeontan immediately runs to Taehyung's car.

"Have a great trip!" Taehyung's dad says when we go outside as well. "Yes, have a wonderful trip! I hope you can relax a lot," Taehyung's mother says. "Thank you, we will!" I smile and wave at them. They wave back at us and we all say goodbye for the last time.

I open the door at the passenger side and Yeontan jumps into the car. He immediately goes to the backseat and lays down. Taehyung and I get into his car as well and put on our seatbelts. Before he starts the car, Taehyung turns to me. "That wasn't so bad, was it?" He smiles. I laugh and shake my head, "not bad at all! It was really great to meet them and they are both very sweet."
