Part One Hundred and Two 백이

An hour later, our little party is going great. We all sit in the backyard. Since there are no people near our house, we can make a little noise without bothering anyone. So we enjoy our little party in the nice, fresh air.

We have a little music box with us, playing all kind of party songs and we use a table to play beer pong. So far, everyone has played at least one round solo. I am proud to say I won against Namjoon. It was close, but I ended up winning.

"Ali!" J-hope calls, "Do you want to join me, Tae and Jin in a game of beer pong?" I laugh, "Yeah sure!" I finish my drink and go over to meet them at the table. "What are the teams?" Jin asks while he throws a ping pong ball in the air. "I wanna team up with you, Jin!" I smile.

Jin laughs and runs up to me. He gives me a high five and looks at J-hope and Taehyung. "Okay, get ready to lose," Taehyung laughs. I roll my eyes at him and laugh, "You better tell yourself that!"

J-hope throws a ping pong ball to us. "Then you can serve first! Show us what you got!" He challenges me. I look at Jin, who looks at me. "Ladies first," he says. "Oh okay," I say and hand him the ping pong ball as a joke. Jin laughs and gives the ball back to me. "Throw it before I play without you," He jokes. I laugh and stick out my tongue. "You won't win without me," I laugh. Jin rolls his eyes and steps aside so I can throw the ball.

A few minutes later, we are all going really well. Taehyung and J-hope have two cups left for us to score in and we have one cup left for them to score in. It is my turn to throw the ball. Jin stands behind me and puts his hands together to pray. "You got this, Ali!" He says. I focus and throw the ball to the other side of the table... Right into one of the two cups in front of Taehyung and J-hope.

Jin and I jump up and cheer. "Yeah Ali!" Jin shouts. We give each other a high five and laugh. "You go girl!" Jin laughs. I laugh as well and throw my hair like it was no big deal. When I look at Taehyung and J-hope, I see how Taehyung drinks from the cup I just scored in. He puts the cup aside and grabs the ball.

He looks focused and ready to win. "Laugh while you still can," He says. I laugh, "Don't feel to proud, Tae, we are tied!" Taehyung smirks, "Not for long, baby." I just roll my eyes, "So show me!" Taehyung laughs, "I'll show you!"

He takes a moment to focus on the cup, like this will help him to score. Right before he throws the ball, he looks at me. "If I score this one first try, you're marrying me," he says. I freeze completely. My jaw drops and I feel goosebumps all over my body. I feel how my heart skips a beat as I repeat his words in my head, just as he throws the ball to the cup... And he scores.

J-hope jumps up and cheers, but Taehyung just looks at me and smirks. I am still frozen. Did he really say that? Did-Did he mean it? Does he really want to marry me? I mean, we are together for a long time now, but we never really talked about marriage. We just joked about it. Is this a joke as well? I bet it is.

Jin pulls me out of my thoughts as he puts his hand on my shoulder. "Do you want to take the last one?" He asks. I just forgot that we were playing beer pong. I completely lost it when the most beautiful and crazy words rolled of Taehyung's beautiful lips.

"Y-Yeah, sure," I quickly say. I take the cup from Jin and look at Taehyung before I put the cup against my lips. Taehyung just smirks and winks at me as I drink the beer out of the cup. When I put the cup down, Taehyung just laughs and walks away. He and J-hope disappear into the house.

My head is a mess right now. Just these small and simple words of him and I am not able to function again. Just like right now, my thoughts are all over the place and he just walked away.

I feel a strong need to talk to him. I really need to know if he meant these words. Maybe he is just a little drunk and he just said it to mess with me. Or maybe he was just kidding. Maybe he doesn't even want to marry me or maybe he isn't thinking about marriage at all.
