Part Forty 사십

After we've rehearsed for a few hours, we finally got the entire routine. I knew the routine would be hard, but I never knew it would be this hard! The dances are so fast and you really need to stay focused! Luckily, everyone knows what to do and when to do it. The timing isn't that great, but it's good enough. We will playback along with the song, so we don't use any microfoons. First we thought it would be funny to use their microfoons with the colors to show who we're recreating. But when we tried to dance with the microfoons, we got really confused. So we gave up on them.

When we just finish another rehearsal and high five each other, we hear someone else of the Tech-team shout. "They're here!" He shouts. Luckily there are more members of the Tech-team here, so they can help us with the music and lights and stuff.

"Okay, turn the lights off on the stage and get in positions!" Jesse says. Just like he said, the lights on the stage turn off. We all go stand in line, for the start of the dance routine. We hear the guys walk in. They come into the hall and stand in front of the stage. They can see us a little bit, but they have no idea what is going on. I'm glad we asked people to film us and their reactions, so we can all rewatch it.

The music starts, and the lights go on. Kaylee starts to playback and we all start to dance. I hear the guys cheer. "No way!" Jimin laughs. We all dance and playback. It goes really well and I actually enjoy this a lot!

When the chorus comes, my nerves add up a little extra. I feel my heart beat in my throat and I make little mistakes. Not that anyone would notice, because it's not like we are doing this dance perfectly.

I hear a few soft cheers. "Do it, Ali!" Jungkook shouts. I laugh and lift my shirt a little. Everyone cheers and shouts out of excitement and amazement. I think they didn't think I would actually do it.

I look at Taehyung and see his surprised and amazed face. His cheeks blush a little and I see a huge smile on his face. His jaw drops a little out of amazement. While I go on with the dance routine, I see his lips form "Oh my god!"

The dance routine goes on and it's time for the second shirt lift. "Do it!" Jimin shouts. I smile wide and do it again. I even feel a little adrenaline, what makes me lift my shirt even higher, to show my belly button. Everyone cheers even louder and starts laughing. 

The song ends. We all end up in a cirkel with me and Bradly in the middle. The music ends and everyone cheers. I look over to the guys and see huge, proud smiles on their faces. They all applaud and laugh. We - on the other hand - all fall on our knees on the stage. I feel absolutely exhausted! This dance routine is incredibly hard and is really exhausting for someone who barely exercises, like me!

The guys laugh when they see we're all exhausted. "Now you know how we feel!" Jin laughs. "This is exhausting!" Kaylee laughs. Jungkook comes over to me. "You were really good!" He says. I look at him and smile. Jungkook gives me a high five.

I try to catch my breath and stand up. Jungkook kindly offers me his hand and helps me up. He puts his hand on my back. "Exhausting, right?" He laughs. I nod, "It really is! How do you do this?" He laughs, "We train a lot!" "Clearly! I won't be able to do two songs in a row, while you do an entire concert for a few nights in a row!" I tell him. Jungkook smiles, "Yeah, well that takes practice, good health and a lot of fans! You will be amazed how much energy the fans give back to you." I smile wide, "In that case, I need a lot of fans!"

Jungkook laughs, "Well, you already have seven!" I laugh with him and look at the others. I see Kaylee also has a hard time. She is out of breath, but still tries to walk. "We practiced for an entire day... I feel like I'm dead!" She laughs. Taehyung stands next to her and helps her.

"Great job everyone!" Jesse says. He looks at us. "I didn't think you could do it," he laughs. Mitch - who is also still out of breath - laughs, "Well, I think we just became the next BTS!"

Kaylee and I give each other a high five. "Yeah! We made it!" I laugh. "Well done, guys! You were amazing!" Taehyung says. "Yes, if we ever need to replace JK, we know who to call!" Suga jokes. Jungkook laughs, "We also know who to call to replace you, Suga!" "Basically, we can replace any of us now!" Namjoon laughs. "So be prepared!" I laugh.

When everyone has recovered from the million practices and the huge performance we just did, Mitch takes place in the middle. "Now we have everyone together, I'd like to make an announcement!" He says. Everyone looks at him and looks excited and confused.

"In three weeks, we need to leave this concert hall," Mitch says. Everyone scares, "What?!" Mitch nods, "I know, I know. It is a shock. But here comes the good news... We're going back to Korea!" Everyone cheers and jumps up. A few people do a dance of happiness.

I feel excited and a little scared. I've never been to Korea. I've never even left the USA! I knew we would go there some day, but I didn't think it would happen this fast...

I notice Taehyung's eyes on me. He looks really excited and smiles wide. I will go to Korea with him... I will be able to see his hometown... This is insane but incredibly exciting!

When everyone is done cheering, Mitch smiles wide. "We all had a long day today," Mitch says, "Let's call it a day! We'll see each other tomorrow!" We all agree and go outside. Taehyung quickly comes over to me. "My place?" He asks. I smile wide and nod.

We both go to our own cars, say goodbye to everyone and go home. I follow the guys to their house and park my car in front of the house. We all go inside. The second the door closes, Taehyung wraps his arms around me and lifts me up. I wrap my legs around his body and put my arms in his neck. Taehyung kisses my lips and holds me tight.

"I love you so much!" He says once he lets me go. I smile wide and look at him. I see a huge smile on his face and a sparkle in his eyes. "You did that dance incredibly! You were amazing!" He says. I laugh at the fact that he starts about the dance instead of the fact that we're going to Korea soon.

"Did you like it?" I ask him. Taehyung keeps his hands on my hips and keeps my body close to his. "I loved it! I have to say, I was a little sad that the others were there too," he laughs. I laugh, "Well, I know the routine now, so I can do it more often!" Taehyung smiles wide, "Hell yeah!" I burst out laughing, "We can do the routine together, you know!" "Nah, I'd rather watch!" Taehyung laughs. I laugh with him.

Then I look him in the eyes. "So, am I allowed to join you in Korea?" I ask him. Taehyung smiles wide and looks like he is about to jump around or scream out of happiness.

"Of course you are!" He says, "You are very welcome in Korea! We would be lucky to have you!" I smile wide and feel my cheeks glow. "I can't wait to show you the beauty of my country!" He says, "I will take you to my hometown and show you all the most amazing places!" I see how excited he is. "I can't believe I get to come to Korea with you!" I tell him, "I can't wait!"

I lean in and kiss his lips. He kisses me back and holds me close to him. "You will absolutely love Korea, baby," he says. I smile wide, "I can't wait to see it, babe." Taehyung smiles wide and kisses me again.

Then he lets me go. "We should celebrate!" He says, "You did an amazing performance and we're going to Korea!" He lets go of me and goes into the kitchen. He comes back with a bottle of champagne.

I laugh, "do you have that just in case?" Taehyung laughs, "yes we do!" He grabs my hand and takes me to the living room with him, where we find the other guys. "Brothers, we're celebrating!" Taehyung says.

Everyone gets excited. Suga gets the glasses and Taehyung opens the bottle of champagne. He fills all the glasses and everyone gets a glass. "To an amazing performance of Alyssa!" Taehyung says. "To the next member of BTS!" Jungkook jokes. "To the next back up dancer!" J-hope laughs. "Let's just say: To Alyssa!" Jimin laughs. I smile wide, "thank you guys!"

"And..." Taehyung adds, "To going back home soon!" He puts his arm around my waist and holds me close to him. He looks at me and smiles wide. "To going back home!" The guys say. "To an amazing adventure in an amazing country with amazing people!" I say. Everyone laughs. "To everything we've just said, now drink!" Suga says. We all agree and take a sip.
