Part One Hundred and Fourteen 백십사

I look at the time. Five minutes to twelve. I sit in the car with Yana and Kaylee. We already arrived at the concert hall, but I am way too scared to go inside. In a few minutes, Taehyung will have a break... And in that break I have to tell him that he will be a father... In a few minutes, his entire world will turn upside down... I am not ready for that yet.

"Remember that he loves you very much, Ali," Kaylee tells me, "He won't leave you that easily." I look at her and nod. She is right. I know he wouldn't leave me just like that. But what if this is different? What if I 'crossed a line' with this? What if he will be mad at me? I just don't want to put him in a situation like this... But I have no choice.

I look at the time again. Two minutes to twelve. I better go inside now...

I take a deep breath and look at Yana and Kaylee. "Okay... Let's go," I tell them. We all get out of the car and go inside the concert hall. With shaking hands I walk through the halls backstage. Kaylee and Yana walk beside me and each grab a hand of mine. We walk to the stage and see the guys still practicing.

When I see Taehyung, my fear increases again. As I see him dance with a wide smile on his face, I feel my heart ache. In a few minutes, I will change everything... I wish I could stop it, but I can't. It's not like I can hide this from him.

The song ends and the guys take a sip of water. "Okay, let's take a break!" Jesse says. The guys agree and they all, except Taehyung, go backstage. Taehyung walks up to Jesse and says something to him. When the other guys see us, they all smile wide. "Hey ladies!" They all greet us. Yana, Kaylee and I try to smile back at them, but it looks really fake, what scares them right away.

"Are you okay?" Suga asks us. I look at him and smile a little. "Yeah, I just need to talk to Tae..." I tell him. Right on that moment, Taehyung walks up to us. "Hey!" He smiles, but he scares when he sees the look on my face. "Everything okay?" He asks. I feel a lump in my throat right away.

"I-Is it okay if we talk?" I ask him. Taehyung looks even more worried and nods. "Yeah, let's go to my dressing room," he says. I nod and follow him into his dressing room. I see how all the eyes of the others are on us, but nobody says anything. They all look worried.

Taehyung closes the door of his dressing room behind me and turns to me. I already see the panic on his face. "Before we start, can I please hug you?" He carefully asks. I smile and nod. "Yes, of course," I tell him. Taehyung looks relieved and hugs me tight. I wrap my arms around him as well and hold him close to me. I take a deep breath and smell his scent mixed with sweat. Normally I would hate this smell, but right now, it is all I wanted to smell.

Taehyung and I let go of each other and look at each other. "What's going on?" He asks me. I sigh deeply, thinking about the best way to tell him. "I think we should take a seat," I tell him. Taehyung nods and we both take a seat on his couch. I stay silent for a moment and try to figure out how to say it, but I really don't know. Can I just drop this bomb on him? Just like that?

Taehyung grabs my hand carefully and intertwines his fingers with mine. I look at him and see his beautiful eyes, filled with a lot of worry. "Don't be afraid, please," he begs me, "You can tell my anything." I smile a little and holds his hand with both my hands. I sigh deeply and look at him. It's now all or nothing...

"Y-You know how I feel sick since last night..." I start, "Well, we found the reason for it..." Taehyung keeps his eyes on me. "Really? What is it?" He asks. I try to fight the lump in my throat. I look straight into his beautiful eyes as the words roll off my lips. "Tae... I'm pregnant..." I tell him.

Taehyung freezes and his jaw drops a little. I see how his eyes keep looking at me, but it feels like they look straight through me. I can nearly see how a million thoughts race through his head. "Y-You're..." He stutters. I nod and keep holding his hand. "I'm pregnant..." I tell him again.
