Part Twenty-Three 이십삼

The next day, work is even more boring than the day before. I am in no right mood to finish my quiz, but my deadline is today, so I have no choice. I created a quiz to find out what self care product you should use. I know right, who would ever do that quiz voluntarily? Well, nobody!

I knock on Finn's door and go inside his office. He looks up from his phone. "Alyssa, what do you have for me?" He asks. I hand him a printed version of the quiz I made. "I improved it with the things you told me this morning," I tell him. Finn takes a quick look at it and nods, "Okay. You can send it." He looks back at his phone.

"Sir, is there maybe another interview I can do next?" I ask him. Without looking at me, he shakes his head. "I already gave all the interviews to others. You can make another quiz for next week," He says. "Already?" I ask him. Normally it takes two till three days to make a quiz. Why do I have to start with one for next week?

"Yes, already," he sighs annoyed. "May I ask why? I mean, a week is a long time to make one quiz," I ask. Finn looks up from his phone. "Because I say so. If you want to keep your job, I suggest you do what I say without any questions," he says, "Have I made myself clear?" I want to get further into it, but I can't.

Even though I have applied to a few different jobs, I haven't been invited to a single  job interview. If I lose this job, I have nothing. So I walk out of his office and close the door - a little harder just to show him I do not agree with him at all - and get back to my desk.

When I sit down again, I notice a message from Taehyung. Immediately, a smile appears on my face. I grab my phone and open his message.

V: Hey! How is work? I am in the mood for a good movie tonight. Are you in? 

Alyssa: Work sucks, like always. So I really need a good movie! Tell me when and where!

V: Tonight, at seven, my place! It's a date :D

Alyssa: It's a date :D

I put my phone down and get back to work. Luckily, the day goes by faster than I thought. After a nice dinner made by Yana, I get changed and go to Taehyung's house. I park my car in front of the house and check myself for the last time. I curled my hair again and I put some make-up on. I decided to wear black skinny jeans and a simple blue shirt. I get out of the car and go to the front door of the house. I ring the doorbell and wait patiently.

Within a few seconds, Jungkook opens the door. "Ali!" he smiles, "Didn't Taehyung give you a key yet?" He lets me in and closes the door behind me. "No, not yet at least," I smile. I see Jimin and Jin on the sofa in the living room. They play a game that looks like Call of Duty. Jungkook joins them on the sofa and stares at the screen.

"Hey! You made it!" I turn around and see Taehyung come down the stairs. He wears black skinny jeans with a black sweater and black shoes. He comes closer to me and opens his arms for a hug. I smile wide and hug him. "How are you?" He asks and lets go of me. "I'm okay now," I smile. Taehyung leans in and kisses my lips gently.

I smile wide and feel butterflies in my belly. His hand touches my hair and his smile gets even bigger. "You look amazing," he says. My cheeks blush and smile wide. "Thank you, so do you," I tell him. I touch his hair and try not to mess it up. His hair is a little curly. It's probably my favorite hairstyle on him.

"We look amazing too, you know!" Jimin laughs. Taehyung and I look over to them and see them laughing at us. "Don't you have a game to play?" Taehyung laughs. "Don't you have a movie to watch?" Jin laughs. "Go play your game and try to get better so you won't lose next time," I joke. They all laugh. "We don't lose!" Jungkook says. "Why don't you try and beat us!" Jimin challenges me.
