Part Seventy-Three 칠십삼

When Taehyung lets go of me again, he looks into my eyes. "Come with me," he says. I see how his eyes quickly move from my eyes to my lips. But then he smiles and grabs my hand. I put the magazine back on the coffee table and follow Taehyung back into the hall. Without saying another word, he walks through the halls, pulling me with him.

Within a few minutes we end up on the stage. I look around and feel amazed by the most amazing view. It looks really cool and a little intimidating to see all these chairs around me, but thank god they're empty. I take a moment to take a look at the entire arena. It looks quite different from the stage. I let go of Taehyung's hand and walk over the catwalk, feeling a huge smile appear on my face.

It's been a long, long time since I last walked on this stage. I think back of the most amazing time I had on this stage. I remember when the guys first practiced Anpanman and the huge bouncy playground appeared on the stage. I remember how Kaylee and I joined the stage and we all played around like we were kids.

I turn around to Taehyung and see how his eyes are on me, following me in every move. "It's weird but great to be on this stage," I tell him with a huge smile. Taehyung laughs, "I agree." I smile and look around the stadium again. I see the chair I sat on two days ago, when I was able to see the concert myself. I smile as I look at that chair.

"It's really fun to see all these chairs like this," I say. Taehyung laughs, "It's even better to see every single chair filled by an ARMY." I turn around to him and smile wide, "I can imagine. But sitting right there, surrounded by ARMY's, is pretty great too!" Taehyung laughs, "I can't relate, but I can imagine." I shake my head, "No, you can't. No matter how many shows you do, you will never be able to imagine how it feels to be an ARMY, being around other ARMY's, singing along to all the songs. It's the most amazing feeling."

Taehyung's eyes are locked on me, not letting go for even a single second. "I'm glad you had an amazing time," he says. I smile wide, "I did. I really, really did." I feel tears burning in my eyes, but I won't let them through. Just a single thought of that day makes me emotional, but I won't cry.

"So I understand the show was great?" Taehyung smiles. "Yeah it was. All though your dancing was really bad," I joke. Taehyung laughs and shakes his head. "Thanks!" He laughs, "It wasn't my fault, though, something in the audience was distracting me." He points at the chair I sat on two days ago during the concert. "Something in that area," he says. I laugh and roll my eyes. "Don't blame your bad dance skills on me!" I joke. Taehyung laughs and shakes his head.

"Speaking about dancing..." He starts. He sticks out his arm and offers me his hand. I feel confused and look at him. "Dance with me," he says, "You are supposed to dance on a stage like this." I laugh, "Really?" Taehyung smiles wide. "Yes, really! Or would you rather dance Fake Love again?" He smiles. "I'm good, thanks!" I laugh and grab his hand. He pulls me against his chest and puts his hands on my hips. I move my hands to his neck and let my head rest against his shoulder.

Even though there is no music or any sound around us, we slowly dance - actually we just move a little bit - on the big stage. I feel how Taehyung touches my hair and caresses my back. He softly starts humming a song as he lets his head rest against mine.

Then he starts to sing. "Well, I won't give up on us.. Even if the skies get rough. I'm giving you all my love. I'm still looking up..." His soft, deep voice sings the words of the beautiful song. As I hold him even closer, I feel my emotions take over. My heart skips a beat as I think back to the last time I heard this song and how we danced together, just like this.

Back then, everything looked so simple. Taehyung and I were together and happier than ever. As we promised each other never to give up on each other, I thought we could really keep that promise. But we didn't know what was coming... If I knew what was to come back then, when we danced to this song, I would've held him a little tighter and enjoyed the moment a little more...
