Part Sixty-Six 육십육

When Namjoon, Suga and J-hope perform their song Tear, I take a moment to recover from everything that happened in the past few minutes. It almost felt like I was going through the entire breakup all over again within one single song.

Yana hugs me tight. "Are you okay?" She asks. I smile and hug her as well. "I'm okay, thank you," I tell her. Yana smiles at me, "I'm right here." Even though these are just three small words, they mean the world to me. I hug her again and try to keep myself from crying all over again.

By the end of Tear, I feel completely fine again. I even sing and dance along with J-hope, Suga and Namjoon. I still feel a little broken inside, but that won't stop me from having the most amazing night ever!

All seven boys join the stage again. I immediately look at Taehyung to see if he is okay. He must have thought the same thing, since he comes closer to me and looks at me with worry in his eyes. "Are you okay?" He asks me without making a sound. I smile wide and nod, "Are you?" Taehyung smiles and nods as well. He sticks up his thumb and winks at me, what makes me smile.

I am yet again amazed by his looks. Even though I have seen a lot from him, every single time I am thrown off guard whenever I look at him. Now he wears blue jeans and a black shirt with his sleeves rolled up, showing his amazingly muscular arms.

The guys do a few more songs what turn the concert hall into a freaking party. Everyone jumps, dances and sings like their life depends on it. Everyone seems to have the best time ever, just like we all deserve.

Then it is time for the guys to say goodbye. They all thank the fans for coming and for being their fans and wish everyone to travel home safe. They all say goodbye to us and then perform the last song, which is Answer: Love Myself. They all take a moment to interact with the crowd one more time.

They all run around on the stage to say goodbye to every single part of the crowd and make a million of hearts to all their fans. Just like all the other fans, I wave at them and make hearts back to them. When I realize I have no idea when I will see them again, I feel my heart break all over again. Tears burn in my eyes as Taehyung comes close again. He looks at me and smiles, but I see tears in his eyes as well.

With his eyes on me, he brings his microfoon to his face. "I save you!" He shouts through his microfoon, making my heart collaps and get reborn all over again. I smile wide and feel tears rolling down my cheeks. We stare at each other, while we still can. "I save you too," I tell him and make a heart with my hands. "I love you so much!" I try to tell him, but I don't know if he understands. Looking at the smile on his face, I bet he does. "I love you too," he says. I smile the widest smile ever as I look at him.

Tears roll down my face as the most incredible seven men grab each other's hands and make a bow to their fans. Everyone cheers and waves at them as they come back up and leave the stage. My eyes follow Taehyung in every single movement. Right before he gets off stage, he looks back at me. "I won't give up," his lips form and then he disappears from my sight.

I burst out in tears as I realize what he just said to me. I remember when we were dancing on Sophie's wedding. The song I Won't Give Up came on and we made a promise we wouldn't give up on each other... Why does he bring that up now? After we broke up and not seeing each other for six whole months... Why does he say that to me now?

The lights go on in the concert hall and slowly everyone moves to the exit. But I feel like I can't move. My head is spinning and my heart is raising. Is he really telling me that he still won't give up on our relationship? But... we already broke up... 

Yana puts her hand on my shoulder. "Let's go home, okay?" She asks me. I look at her, but my head is still spinning. "I don't know if I can," I admit to her. Yana smiles weakly, "I feel you..." But I shake my head, "I need to see him..." Yana looks confused, "What do you mean? You just saw him." I look around the room and see a security guard. "I need to talk to him," I tell Yana. I walk over to the security guard, but Yana grabs my arm and stops me.

"Ali, what do you mean?" She asks. I look at her, feeling the urge in my bones. "I just need to talk to him, just for a second," I tell Yana. Before she can stop me again, I go over to the security guard. "Hi, sorry to bother you, my name is Alyssa, I was part of the crew a while ago," I tell him. He looks at me and looks really confused. "I just need to talk to someone real quick," I tell him and try to get passed him to go backstage, but he stops me immediately.

"Miss, I can't let you go through," he says. I look at him. "I get it, but I am not just a random fan. I was part of your crew. Just ask any of the crew members, they know about me, trust me," I tell him. "I get that, but I can't let you through," he says again. I smile at him, but feel incredibly annoyed. "Listen, I just need to go there real quick and talk to someone. Just ask for Kaylee and she will explain everything," I tell him.

"I know who you are," he says. I feel confused. "You do? Okay, so let me through," I tell him. "I can't. I can't let anyone through. Not you, not any other crew member, no one," he says. I look at him and feel tears burning in my eyes. But I need to. I just need to see him. I need to talk to him! This can't be the last time I saw him! It just can't!

He basically told me he still loves me and he still wants me, how can I go on with my life like that? I can't! I need to talk to him. I need to know what he meant! 

"I just..." I try to stay calm, "I just need to see him..." Tears break through my eyes. If this man knows who I am, he sure knows what happened. "I understand, Alyssa, but I can't let you do that," the man says. I look at him while more and more tears roll down my cheeks. "Please... I'm begging you..." I beg him, "I just want to talk to him real quick. Just one more time..."

The man sighs, "I'm sorry..." I shake my head, "No, please! This can't be it! This can't be the last time I see him. I can't let go of him! I need him! I need him in my life!" Yana puts her hands on my shoulders. "Ali... You can't... Let's go home okay?" She says. But I don't want to go home, I want to see him! I was afraid that he was over me. I thought he moved on while I couldn't. But he showed me that he couldn't move on either. He is lost and broken, just like me!

"Please leave before I have to make you," the man says. Yana quickly grabs my arms and softly pulls me away from the man. "Come on, Ali, let's go home..." She says. I look at her and start to sob. "Yana... I just need to see him... I need to..." I tell her through my tears. Yana nods and hugs me tight. "I know, Ali... But you can't... There is nothing you can do," she says, "You need to let him go..." I burst out in tears, "No! No, no, no! I can't let him go. I need him!"

Yana shushes me and slowly guides me to the exit. I feel weak. I can't even fight her. I can't even find the strength to go back and try to find him myself. I know it will be useless. Nobody wants me there. If the world has showed me one thing, it's that I am not allowed to be with him. I am not allowed to be close to him... Not anymore...
