I sigh as I click 'save' on my computer. After two days I finally finished the interview for this weeks magazine. The interview was with some tech guy about the new iPhone that was announced last week. I had to ask him a bunch of questions about the future and his opinion on the new phone.

I don't know anything at all about technology. So when the guy started to talk about the technical aspects of the phone, I almost fell asleep. It was the most boring interview I had ever done... But then I needed to type it all out. Even after listening to his answers over a hundred times, I couldn't figure out what he was talking about.

But now it is finished! The only thing left is a confirmation from Finn so it can be included in this weeks magazine. This is the worst part of my job, asking Finn for confirmation. Finn is the only one who gets to say what is good enough to be published and what is trash - as he likes to call it.

Finn has a big ego and is not afraid to share his - mostly hateful - opinion. I bet he enjoys to yell at us how bad our work is. There is not one time he was positive about something in the first try - as we call it. It takes three, maybe four times of correcting before it is - according to Finn - good enough to be published.

If his feedback was anything near helpful, it wouldn't be such a problem. But his feedback is vage and unjust. He only wants us to improve our work because he likes to yell at people. His feedback doesn't make any sense!

With a pounding heart and sweaty hands, I stand up from my desk. I grab the paper version of the interview and walk over to Finn's office. I take a few deep breathes and softly knock on the door.

"Come in!" Finn yells. I slowly open the door and walk inside. Finn looks up to me. I see his face is a little red and his eyes spit fire. I immediately feel goosebumps all over my body. He is not in a good mood... Oh god...

Then I look at the chair on the opposite side of his desk, where my colleague Carmen sits. She looks angry and even a little scared. By the look on her face, I know Finn just yelled at her and probably called her all kinds of names.

"Oh, I see you're busy. I will come back later," I tell Finn and make my way back to the door. "No. Stay." Finn says, "I am sure whatever you have to say is better than this." I take a deep breath, "Well, I just came here to ask if you could look at the interview I made."

Finn looks over to Carmen. "Did you hear what she said? She wanted me to look at her interview before it gets published! That's how this works," Finn tells her. Carmen sighs and looks at her folded hands on her lap. "I already told you I was sorry. It won't happen again," Carmen says. "No, it better! Do you know how humiliated I was when I got the call?! I should fire you!" Finn yells at Carmen.

I stay completely quiet. I feel like this is a private conversation, but I am way too scared to move.

"Am I fired?" Carmen asks. Finn groans, "No, sadly not! Apparently your interview wasn't bad enough to legally kick you out!" Carmen looks down again, "Can I go back to work then?" Finn looks at her, the fire is still visible in his eyes. "The fact that I can't fire you, doesn't mean you won't be punished!" Finn yells, "You didn't think I would let you handle that big interview this week?!"

Carmen looks up at him. "But sir, I've been preparing that interview for months! You can't take that from me!" She says. "Of course I can take that from you! One of your colleagues can take over," Finn says. "Please, please, let me do that interview! Everyone else is busy!" Carmen begs.

Finn takes a moment to think about it. Then his eyes dart to me. "Alyssa, you always wanted to do a big interview, right?" He asks. My heart beats like it is about to explode. "Y-yes, sir," I say. I feel bad for Carmen, but it is my dream to do a big interview. I have no idea who Carmen was about to interview, but I know it must be a big artist.

"Okay, then you take over from Carmen!" Finn says. A huge smile appears on my face. I feel a wave of happiness take over my body. "Really? Thank you, sir," I say, trying to stay as polite as possible so I won't mess this up. He could easily take it all away with the same speed he gave it to me.

"What?! No, sir, she is not ready to do an interview this big!" Carmen says, "If we mess this up, we will lose a lot of customers!" Finn nods, "I am aware. That's why you're gonna help her prepare." My jaw drops the same time Carmen's does. "You can't be serious!" Carmen says. "I am completely serious. Oh, and you take over the rest of her work so she can focus on the interview," Finn adds.

Carmen looks like she is about to explode of anger. "And now out of my office! Both of you!" Finn says, "If Alyssa fucks this up, you're both fired!"

Carmen and I walk out of Finn's office and close the door behind us. I don't think I have ever felt this good in my entire life! I finally got to do what I always wanted to do! I get to interview a big artist! My dream is coming true!

But then I look at Carmen. She looks like she just hit rock bottom. It looks like she is about to burst out in tears. I feel bad for her... But on the other hand, I never liked her and she was always rude to me. Besides, she didn't lose her job, she is only te mporarily demoted.

Carmen sighs, "Well, let's get to work, I guess..." I nod and try to be as compassionate as possible. All though I would rather have a freaking party right now and scream and shout from the rooftop.

We go back to our desks. Carmen sighs deeply and looks at me. "Okay, let's just cut to the chase. You've done interviews before, right?" She asks. I nod, "Yes, I do an interview once a month. So I can do this." "Well, lucky for you, I already did all the preparing work. I've got all the questions ready for you along with a document with information you need to know before the interview," she says.

I nod, "Okay. Thanks. But who are we talking about? Who am I interviewing?" Carmen looks at me. "The so called next big boy band, BTS," she says. My heart stops beating. Did she really say that? No way!

I've been a part of the ARMY for years! Yana discovered them a lot of years ago and she made me a fan as well. We always listen to their music in our house and we love to watch interviews, performances and all other kinds of videos together. We own all their albums and even have a few posters in our house. We dream about going to a concert, but we were never able to go. We tried to get tickets, but it was sold out in no-time. But... Now I am about to interview them?! Am I still dreaming?!

"They are from Korea and a total hit here in the USA. They have a really big fan base," Carmen tells me, like I don't know that already. I smile, "Yeah, I've heard about them." I try not to be a total fan-girl. Carmen lifts her eyebrow at me, but doesn't say anything. "The band will do a photo shoot for a few magazines including ours. The interviews, including yours, will be in between the shoots," Carmen explains, "It is important to know their fans call themselves the ARMY. They are more powerful than you think. The goal is to make them happy, so they buy our magazine. So the questions are based on the things they want to know about them. So just ask questions I give you and no other, okay?" Carmen explains.

I can't stop smiling. This is the best day of my life! I can't believe I am going to interview BTS... I already thought today was a dream come true, even before I knew who I was going to interview. But now... I am speechless. I can't believe this is happening! My body is shaking and my heart beat can't stop

"Alyssa? Are you okay?" Carmen asks. I look at her and realize I never answered her. "Yes, I am okay and I will stick to the questions!" I tell her. Carmen nods, "Okay. I'd go prepare for the interview if I were you. You understand it's a big deal, right?" I smile wide and nod, "Believe me, I understand!"
