Becoming the Hunter (Story 2 - Part 1)

With Venno: 

Venno was a grey Velociraptor with the ability to spit toxic venom saliva, her hair being a bright neon green with a slightly lighter shade of green for her bangs. She was currently wearing one of her favorite outfits, that being a burgundy cropped shirt with one sleeve long while the other was off the shoulder, a cutout on her chest, and a pair of matching burgundy ripped skinny jeans. She had a pair of horns on her head, one of them cracked in half due to a recent altercation with her ex-boyfriend, a fight that she was able to luckily win with the use of her toxic venom saliva being spat at on the right side of his face. She also had three dark grey spikes running along her upper back, a pair running along the upper portion of her tail, and about six on either side of her tail tip. 

The Velociraptor had managed to clean out the entire first and second floors of the old casino, having taken an entire week to sweep the floor and take out all the broken and busted tables and machines. 

She found it quite enjoyable, having taken the time to clean out the entire building to make it her home, even though she was going to be living in the third floor VIP Exclusive room. Luckily, those rooms still had perfectly good furniture that just needed minor updates and cleaning of dust. 

After having moved to Terronto city, she met a Black Widow named Arachné Widow, a bar owner across the street who helped vouch for her when it came to asking for someplace to live from the Spider Mafia. 

They agreed to let her live in the old casino that had been rundown, but was still standing, which she was more than happy to take as her own living accommodations. 

Getting to live someplace on her own without annoying neighbors to bother her? 

That’s a win in her book, for sure. 

The only thing that needed to be done was for her to clean out everything, the place having fallen under the victim of layers of dust coating nearly every surface. 

Venno sighed, the Velociraptor wiping the sweat from her forehead as she glanced around the now clean third floor hallway, a broom in-hand. 

Venno had done such a good job cleaning out the casino that it would make one think she would be opening it to the public, again. 

The Velociraptor had even THOUGHT about opening the casino, just so she had something to do, but had decided against it. 

The last thing she needed was for the casino to close down a second time because the Spider Mafia got into a fight with another opposing gang. 

The Shark Gang, being the only real rival gang that opposed the Spider Mafia on a nearly daily basis due to their wish to take over as the only gang in Terronto, thus leading them to try and take over Spider Mafia turf to do just that. 

No, Venno had decided that it would just be a place for her to live, even though she was the only one living in it and the casino felt more like she was living in a mansion with two empty floors.

Venno frowned slightly, having recalled the reason she moved from home in the first place, and that being so she wouldn’t have to run into her ex-boyfriend again, a Python with horrible anger and jealousy issues. 

She then sighed and shook her head, deciding not to think about what happened. 

She had been given the master keys to the casino, as well, meaning the entire building was now hers to keep. The only condition they wanted, that was happy to agree with, was that they were allowed to come inside the casino and use the first two floors as their sort of ‘hangout’ whenever they felt like it, which was reasonable in her opinion.
