With Venno:
The Velociraptor entered the casino, having waved goodbye to Barry before he left.
As Venno glanced around, the Velociraptor heard the sound of some Spider Mafia members in the large dining hall.
Unsure of whether she should tell her siblings that she was home early, Venno began walking to the elevator, the Velociraptor making sure her footsteps were silent so as to not interrupt the Spider Mafia from their conversation.
Just as Venno made it to the elevator, the Spider Mafia members decided to leave the dining hall, on their way out the door when one of them caught sight of Venno.
“Hey, Ms.Rapter. Back from another hunt?” called the Spider, smiling as he waved.
This caused the other Spiders to glance over and call out their greetings, smiling when they saw the Velociraptor.
Not wanting to be rude, Venno turned and smiled and she waved back.
“Hey guys. And yes, I’m back from another hunt. I finished early, so my boss let me come home” said Venno.
“That’s great to hear. Anyway, we’re just heading out. Take care” said another Spider.
The others nodded in agreement before they all turned and continued to the front doors, some of them giving Venno a quick wave.
“Thanks, and you take care, as well” called Venno, the Velociraptor giving them a quick wave as they left.
Venno sighed, the Velociraptor about to enter the elevator when she was suddenly startled by her sister’s voice.
“Hey Venno, you’re back early” called the Porcelain Monster, having heard Venno talking to the Spider Mafia members as they were leaving.
Venno sighed, having hoped her sister and brother weren’t home, but it appeared that they were.
“Yeah, I’m back early. Let me head up” called Venno.
The Velociraptor quickly got into the elevator and went up to the third floor, her sister waiting for her.
“So, why are you back early? You don’t normally arrive back until a little later” said Slendithera, the Porcelain Monster crossing her arms and frowning.
Venno frowned, the Velociraptor walking past her sister so that she may get to her apartment.
“I caught my bounty early, so Jerry let me come home” said Venno with a shrug.
Slendithera hummed in thought, the Porcelain Monster still frowning.
“Normally you come back later, though, even when you finish a hunt early. You always like to walk back with your three friends from the Bounty Hunter Agency. Why are you really back early?” asked Slendithera, the Porcelain Monster having a feeling that her sister wasn’t telling her something.
Venno sighed in annoyance, knowing her sister caught on to things much quicker.
“Alright, I’ll tell you. I don’t know if you remember, but two weeks ago I started feeling sick with some stomach pains. Well, I finally admitted that I should probably stay home until I feel better, and Jerry let me” admitted Venno, the Velociraptor frowning as she turned around to face her sister.
Slendithera gasped and nodded, the Porcelain Monster recalling this as Rad quickly opened his door to see what was going on, the Toxic Sludge having heard their conversation.
“Wait, you’ve been feeling sick for two weeks and you’ve been hunting bounties this entire time? How did you even manage?” asked Rad, the Toxic Sludge confused.
