The CEO of the Bounty Hunter Agency (Story 20 - Part 5)

With Venno: 

The Velociraptor was fighting her way by some more guards with ease, her scythe twirling and slicing anyone who got in her way. 

Lobster guards fell to the ground in pieces, the deadly weapon making their deaths swift whereas for others barely remained conscious with missing limbs. 

Venno’s eyes were glowing a bright red, and there was some toxic venom saliva dripping from her mouth and burning holes in the red carpeted floor in the hallway. 

Despite being a few weeks pregnant, Venno could feel the maternal instinct to protect both her baby and the baby’s father, that being Dexx.  

Venno didn’t know how Jerry was doing, considering he had an injured leg and couldn’t move too fast, but she had a feeling he was doing just fine. 

With Jerry: 

The older Spider was picking off his shots one at a time, each one making its carefully aimed mark perfectly on point. 

With his cigarette hanging from his mouth, Jerry couldn’t help but chuckle and sneer at the thought of being able to do this again, even if he couldn’t do all the things he used to back when his leg wasn’t injured. 

If the older Spider had taken the time to let his leg heal properly, then he would most likely be able to run and jump like he used to, but he hadn’t so he could only walk. 

With Arachnè: 

The Black Widow had taken her perch up on top of the sub they came in, her bow drawn and ready to shoot in case any guards happened to get by. 

Behind the black tinted visor of her motorcycle helmet, Arachnè couldn’t help but smile at the thought of being out on another mission after a long time in hiding. 

The Black Widow couldn’t believe she had hesitated and even considered denying Jerry’s request to help, but she was glad that she had made the right choice. 

Not to mention, she wanted to help Venno, the Velociraptor being her friend since she first moved to Terronto.

Arachnè could only hope that Venno and Jerry manage to help Dexx and return back to the sub so they could leave. 

With Venno: 

The Velociraptor finally made it to the end of the hall, the metal door opening and allowing her into a large central lobby area. 

Venno then halted when she saw who was in the room, the Velociraptor unable to believe her eyes. 

“Dexx!” called Venno, the Velociraptor smiling as she rushed over to the Anglerfish, her scythe disappearing. 

Dexx was shocked and startled, the Anglerfish barely having the time to turn only to be greeted by a tight hug from the Velociraptor, but he quickly chuckled and hugged back. 

“You found my hideout, huh?” muttered Dexx, the Anglerfish burying his face into Venno’s neck, causing shivers to run down her spine, hairstyle flicking lightly. 

Venno nodded, the Velociraptor feeling her worries vanish knowing Dexx was alright. 

“I did. We took your sub and came down to save you, but I should have remembered that you always manage to escape somehow” said Venno, the Velociraptor pulling away. 

“We?” asked Dexx, the Anglerfish confused as he tilted his head to the side. 

“Jerry and his old apprentice from years ago. He only wanted the three of us to come in case things went wrong” said Venno, the Velociraptor frowning.
