With Venno:
The Velociraptor was slowly walking down the street, on her way to the Bounty Hunter Agency to tell her boss the news.
As Venno continued down the street, she instinctively wrapped her arms around her stomach at the thought of being pregnant with a child.
Dexx’s child, that is.
She did have some suspicions about it, the thought having run through her head maybe once or twice in the first week, but she had decided that she was probably just sick since she hadn’t really paid too much attention to the signs.
Venno sighed, unsure of how she would tell Jerry.
She wasn’t even sure how he would react, although she had a feeling that he would be happy for her no matter what, considering he was like family to her.
And Dexx, too.
The Velociraptor paused for a second as she thought about the Anglerfish and everything he did for her.
Yes, they had one fight, and Venno despised him at first for betraying her trust and breaking a promise, but the Velociraptor still loved him deeply.
Now she couldn’t wait to see him again, and most importantly, to apologize for getting so angry in the first place.
“I may have lost one bounty, the second one to actually manage to get away, but it’s Dexx who keeps coming back to me no matter what” muttered Venno, the Velociraptor smiling as she hugged herself, the thought of having a child with someone who actually loved her for who she was running through her mind.
Smiling as she continued down the street, Venno turned the corner and saw some Shark Gang members walking down the street towards her, a group of at least two Lemon Sharks and three Bull Sharks.
As she walked down the street past them, one of them quickly recognized her.
“Hey, you’re the one who scared us away from Spider Mafia territory. Thanks for getting our bosses to finally leave those Spiders alone. It’s honestly been getting annoying having to fight them as often as we used to” said one of the Bull Sharks, smiling.
Venno was shocked and confused as she quickly whirled around to look at them, the Velociraptor having expected them to be angry at her, thus her semi tense posture.
“Wait, you’re happy that you’re no longer able to fight the Spider Mafia for their territory?” asked Venno, the Velociraptor tilting her head to the side.
One of the Lemon Sharks nodded, smiling.
“Oh yeah, a lot of us are relieved now that we only have to worry about our own territory. Only a small handful are still pissed” explained the Lemon Shark.
Venno couldn’t help but smile and nod in understanding, the Velociraptor happy to hear.
“Well, it’s great to see you guys when you’re not attacking the Spider Mafia. I’ve got to get going, though, so take care alright?” said Venno, the Velociraptor giving the five Sharks a quick wave as she turned to continue down the sidewalk.
“You too” called one of the other Bull Sharks, the five Shark Gang members turning and continuing down the opposite direction Venno was walking in.
The Velociraptor couldn’t help but smile at the thought of actually getting to meet some Shark Gang members without having to worry about having to fight them.
Venno slowly continued walking down the street, on her way to the Bounty Hunter Agency.
