The Young Harpy Girl (Story 9 - Part 1)

With Venno: 

It’s been a while since Venno’s brother had been allowed to live with her and Slendithera, the Toxic Sludge now living in another one of the empty rooms that Venno had cleaned up.

Venno had also changed her Bounty Hunter uniform so that she was now wearing a cropped burgundy leather jacket, the neck strap buttoned while the jacket remained unzipped. She was still wearing her catsuit, but she had changed the foot covers so that they were now a tighter fit around her legs, and the gloves now had silver claws on the fingers. She decided to wear the other jacket casually whenever she wanted to, plus she felt lighter with the new jacket. She also got rid of the goggles, having found that they were getting a little annoying to wear.

Speaking of Venno, the Velociraptor was currently in the Bounty Hunter Agency, hiding behind an overturned table in the hallway that was now on its side with Barry and Fiona hiding beside her. 

This was because one of the other Bounty Hunters had brought in a bounty who got angry with all the questions being asked and had decided to go into their full Elementimp form and attack. 

Everyone on the interrogation floor had either ran to the elevators or were hiding behind furniture to avoid getting hit and attacked by whatever the bounty was throwing at them. 

Jerry was standing in the doorway to the viewing room he had been sitting in, calmly smoking his cigar as he tried to ignore what was going on. 

The Bounty Interrogator who had been interviewing the bounty, the Falcon, was hiding behind the corner. 

The Falcon quickly peeked around the corner before ducking back as a chair was thrown in his direction. 

“Dammit, that Fire Dragon Elementimp won’t stop attacking and throwing stuff at us. What should we do?” demanded the Falcon, glancing over at where Jerry was calmly walking over to him, the older Spider somehow not getting hit with any of the furniture being thrown. 

Jerry shrugged as he leaned his back against the wall. 

“Don’t look at me. I’m not the one who angered the bullocks off of him. Can’t do anything about it anyway with this leg, unless I want to break it permanently” said Jerry, gesturing down at his injured leg. 

The Falcon snarled in anger, but knew that the older Spider was right, turning his attention to Venno, Barry and Fiona.

Fiona whimpered as she shielded her head with her arms as a table came flying over where she was hiding with Barry and Venno. 

Barry growled in anger, peeking over the overturned table before ducking back under. 

“Well then, what do you suggest we do?” asked Barry, turning to Venno, gladly willing to do what she said with the situation they were in. 

Venno swallowed down the snarl she felt deep within her throat as she turned and glared at Barry. 

“Me? You were the one who walked into the interrogation room and had to comment about his lack of physical strength” said Venno incredulously. 

“I was just trying to lower his self esteem to see if he would answer the questions! How was I supposed to know he would go into his full Elementimp form and attack us?” asked Barry, clearly unaware that he was at fault. 

Venno let her snarl slip from her throat as she and Barry continued to glare at one another. 

“Guys, please stop arguing and do something!” exclaimed Fiona, hating the fact that Venno and Barry were arguing again. 

The Velociraptor and Wolf Hound were startled by Fiona’s outburst, but they knew she was right as they exchanged glances and nodded. 

“Alright then. Barry and Fiona, you two try shooting his weak spot, which I believe would be his chest. I’ll sneak up behind him and use my scythe to weaken him further. Hopefully he’ll turn back into his other form when he’s weak enough” said Venno, coming up with a quick plan in her head.
