The CEO of the Bounty Hunter Agency (Story 20 - Part 3)

With Venno:

The Velociraptor was waiting outside of the warehouse with Jerry, the older Spider having just arrived about an hour after she had returned up the stairs to wait for him.

She was confused as to where his friend was, but was reassured that she was on her way.

The only thing Venno could do was to wait and see, the Velociraptor growing impatient.

The Velociraptor was pacing back and forth, her anger beginning to boil over as she continued to wait, every second wasted meaning Dexx could be getting hurt even more if they've started torturing him for answers.

"Calm down, Rapter. She'll be here soon enough" said Jerry, the older Spider having noticed Venno's impatient pacing.

Venno snarled, the Velociraptor turning to give Jerry a quick glare, her tail whipping from side to side while her big toe claw tapped on the ground angrily.

"I know that, but I just can't wait. The father of my child, the love of my life, was just taken away and I couldn't go after him and help. I could have taken them down on my own. I've fought the Shark Gang a few times before" said Venno, the Velociraptor clenching her fists.

Jerry just remained calm, the older Spider taking a slow puff from his cigarette before nodding.

"I understand, but these guys were prepared. Not to mention you're pregnant. No, I have a plan, and that is to go down to Mr.Krabiss and take the fight to his underwater base. He won't know we're coming, and my friend has the ability to fool anyone and make it seem like there's more than one of her when in reality she's on her own" said Jerry calmly, the older Spider shrugging.

Venno nodded in understanding, the Velociraptor about to say something when she was suddenly startled by someone landing on the ground just in front of her and Jerry.

She appeared to be some sort of Spider considering she had at least six arms. Some Spiders have different sets of arms and legs, meaning it isn't uncommon for a group of the same ones to gather.

Venno couldn't tell who it was though, since she was wearing a black, dark gray, and dark red catsuit. She had shoes that appeared to be high heels, but they were heelless, making it a wonder how she can even run in them. On her head, she was wearing a motorcycle helmet with a bright red hourglass on the forehead, the visor tinted black.

On her back, she had a bow and quiver full of arrows, meaning it was the weapon she used the most.

"Meet my old apprentice. I used to mentor her before she had to leave. This was before I had established the Bounty Hunter Agency, so we did things a lot differently back then" said Jerry, the older Spider smiling as he gestured over to the female Spider.

Venno nodded, the Velociraptor frowning as she had a sudden feeling that she knew this female Spider, but she decided now was not the time to dwell on it too much.

"Good, let's go. Dexx's sub is in his hideout, I think there's an entrance in and out just under the docks. There's no time to waste" said Venno, the Velociraptor turning around and walking back to the door to the warehouse.

Jerry was a little startled by this, the older Spider frowning.

"Don't you want to at least know her name?" asked Jerry, the older Spider tilting his head to the side in confusion.

Venno quickly halted, the Velociraptor turning her head to listen.

"It's Widow" said Jerry simply.

Venno nodded, the Velociraptor glancing away in thought.
