With Venno:

The Velociraptor, Wolf Hound, and Porcelain Monster all got off the train once it had stopped completely.

Venno had been too distracted with her thoughts to even pay attention to where the train was taking them.

All she recalled was the train going through the Burning Savannah for a little while before turning onto a different track and going through a long tunnel.

From what Barry was telling Slendithera, Venno having decided to listen in on their conversation at some point before going back to her thoughts, Dry Skull Valley got its name because the town they were going to was built in and around the ribs and tail of a giant skeletal desert monster that had long been dead.

The tunnel Venno recalled their train going through had actually been the skull, the thing acting as an entrance to the town. The jaws were large and lined with sharp teeth, despite the bottom jaw having been buried deep in the sand, the teeth were still visible.

The town, in question, was western in style. Everyone appeared to be wearing western clothing, minus the visitors who had just arrived. The buildings were made of wood, and the roads were unpaved.

Venno was suddenly startled out of her thoughts by the sound of the train whistle going off, the train slowly beginning to leave the station once everyone had either gotten on or off.

“The next train should be coming in a few hours, maybe two at the most. This one, if I recall, goes straight to the city of the Burning Savannah which is only thirty minutes away by train. After that, it’ll go all the way to Los Hellus before turning around and coming back” said Barry, the Wolf Hound walking over to the train map hanging on the station wall.

Venno sighed in annoyance and rolled her eyes.

“Let’s just get this over with so we can go back. I don’t want to look at his face any longer than I have to” said Venno bitterly, the Velociraptor making it clear she did not want to see Eric again.

“Aww, come on sis, lighten up. I mean, how can you not admit how cool and amazing this town looks” exclaimed Slendithera excitedly, the Porcelain Monster smiling as she looked around in amazement, having quickly changed into a jean skirt, cowboy boots, purple cropped tank and western looking cropped vest, her hair up in a high ponytail.

Venno glanced around, the Velociraptor shrugging and nodding in agreement, knowing that her sister was right.

“Yeah, I haven’t been here before, so I suppose you are right” said Venno, impressed by how nice the town looks.

“You suppose?” asked Slendithera, smirking as she crossed her arms.

Venno chuckled and rolled her eyes, the Velociraptor happy that her sister had come along to lighten her mood.

“Come on, Jerry said the mayor posted the bounty, so we should go pay him a visit so he could explain” said Barry, the Wolf Hound gesturing for the two sisters to follow.

Venno and Slendithera nodded before quickly catching up to Barry, the Wolf Hound having turned around and began walking down the unpaved street.

As the three made their way to the building that was most likely the mayor's office, the building being one of the largest and in the center of town, Venno began to glance around for any signs of her ex boyfriend.

This allowed her to realize how hot it was, the Velociraptor glancing up and seeing that the spine and ribs barely covered the town from the heat of the sun.

Venno and Barry were both wearing their uniforms, the Wolf Hound even panting a bit because of his thick coat of fur.

Slendithera was the only one who seemed unbothered by the heat, the Porcelain Monster happily skipping down the street ahead of them.
