The Hyena Pack Gang (Story 6 - Part 3)

With Venno: 

The Velociraptor looked through her binoculars, watching as several vehicles came in and out of the city, looking for any sign of the motorcycle gang. 

She sighed in annoyance, knowing that it would most likely take a while before they arrived. 

If they were even entering the city to begin with, considering their leader has a bounty over his head and the BHA headquarters WERE in Terronto.

Venno hummed in thought, now thinking. 

“Maybe they’ll set up a camp just outside of the city instead of coming in?” said Venno, talking to herself. 

Just as she was thinking of perhaps doing a flyover of the road just to see if she can spot any camps nearby, she was suddenly startled by the sound of the door to the roof slamming open a few meters behind her. 

Venno swiftly took out her gun, pointing it at whoever had slammed the door open, but quickly lowered it when she saw who it was. 

“Hey Venno!” called Slendithera, smiling as she shut the door before quickly walking over to her sister. 

Venno sighed in relief before frowning, putting her gun away. 

“What are you doing here, and how did you find me?” asked Venno, unsure whether she wanted to know the answer. 

Slendithera giggled, hopping up onto the ledge of the roof, balancing like it was a tightrope. 

This caused Venno to panic slightly, afraid that her sister would fall, but knew that she was more careful than she appeared. 

“Your boss came and told me that you might need some help with this new bounty he gave you. Told me I would find you here. Well technically he said you would be on one of the rooftops on the east side of Terronto, so I came to the tallest one which just so happened to be the first one I checked. That’s this building!” explained Slendithera, smiling. 

She then jumped backwards off the ledge, doing a backflip before landing on the rooftop with ease. 

Venno raised an eyebrow before shrugging, returning to what she had been doing minutes before her sister had arrived, looking through her binoculars and keeping her eyes peeled for the motorcycle gang. 

“Well I suppose I could use your help on this one. I read through the file on this bounty, and apparently he and his family will be passing through Terronto on their way to Dry Skull Valley. There's about twelve of them travelling, all Hyenas” explained Venno, taking the folder out of her backpack and handing it over to her sister without taking her eyes off the road. 

Slendithera took the folder and opened it, quickly skimming through the contents before nodding in understanding, now frowning. 

“And if they’re not stopping to take a break and just keep driving?” asked the Porcelain Monster, handing the folder back to her sister. 

Venno took her eyes off the road, placing her binoculars down on the ledge for a quick minute to put the folder back into her backpack. 

“I considered that probability, but they have to make as many pit stops as they can to fill up on supplies and refuel their motorcycles. If they skip one, then it’ll be a long way before they make it to the next one, in which they risk running low on fuel. No, they have to stop by Terronto before they can continue on their way, especially since they have to drive through the Burning Savannah in order to get to Dry Skull Valley. It’s just a straight ride there from here” explained Venno, quickly taking out a map from her backpack and unfolding it, showing it to her sister.
