Top Bounty (Story 3 - Part 3)

With Venno: 

The Velociraptor was sitting in the archives, reading through the single folder Jerry had given her. 

The folder had all the info about the Anglerfish that she needed to know. 

She sighed, deciding to just skim through some of the information. 

She had been prepared to hunt down Dexx, but instead, she was sitting in the archives and reading through a folder about a bounty who was deemed ‘uncatchable’. 

She decided to make it quick, wanting to get out on the field as soon as possible. 

Name: Dexx Angle
Denizen Species: Anglerfish
Age: 20
Gender: Male 
Date of Death: (Unknown)
Crime: Thieving

Wanted for: Stealing the blood ruby; stealing a weapon from the Terronto City Science Facility
Bounty posted by: Mr.Krabiss; the Terronto City Science Facility
Base: Seen near the Terronto docks the most 
Note: When nearly caught, he will escape at the last moment and escape to a different city. Multiple bases duly noted.

enno raised an eyebrow in confusion when she read the part about having multiple bases located in different cities.

She shook her head, deciding not to think about it too much as she quickly skimmed through the rest of the information. 

Once finished, she closed the folder and got up, grabbing her backpack and putting the folder inside in case she needed it. 

As she walked past the front desk of the archives, the faded orange haired grey Possum working the desk glanced up at her. 

“If you’re hunting down that Anglerfish, I suggest you start at the Science Facility next door” he suggested, tilting his head to the side as he spoke with a slight Irish accent. 

Venno halted in her tracks and looked back at the Possum, a little confused. 

“Why’s that? Shouldn’t I go to the denizen who issued the bounty in the first place?” asked Venno, crossing her arms and sounding a little unsure. 

The Possum shrugged lazily and smiled. 

“Yes, Mr.Krabiss DID post the bounty, but he lives all the way at the bottom of the Sea of Dead in an underwater station. There’s a slim chance you’ll be able to find it, let alone find a sub that can take you down to him. No, it’s too dangerous, plus he’s the kind of denizen who doesn’t want to get bothered. But if you go to the Science Facility, they may be able to tell you a little more about your bounty” explained the Possum, smiling. 

Venno tilted her head to the side, now curious. 

Deciding to continue, the Possum chuckled. 

“If you’ve read the info, it will say that the bounty was also posted by not only Mr.Krabiss, but by the Science Facility as well. You’ll have to ask around, but I can assure you, it’s a good start” suggested the Possum. 

Venno thought about it for a second before nodding. 

“Alright. I’ll go. Thanks” said Venno, smiling and nodding in gratitude before turning and leaving. 

Time Skip: 

The Velociraptor entered the front doors to the Science Facility, immediately taking notice that the entire building seemed to consist mostly of glass walls, white floors and black furniture scattered here and there.
