With Slendithera:

The Porcelain Monster was walking down the streets of Terronto, her thoughts having wandered back to how her sister came to the decision to move to a new city to begin with.

“Stupid Eric, stupid oversized slimy earth worm. You and your stupid fucking jealous anger issues” muttered Slendithera to herself, completely blaming Venno’s ex-boyfriend for driving her sister away.

She then turned and immediately punched the nearest thing to her, which happened to be a store window, causing it to shatter and break completely. Her vertical mouth on her chest opened, the thing shrieking angrily as black ooze-like saliva dripped down the many sharp needle-like teeth.

Normally it remained sealed shut, only opening when she needed to temporarily store something inside or when she was beyond enraged.

This caused the denizens passing by to get startled, some staring at her in shock while others snarled/growled in annoyance.

The store clerk, a denizen with a hat for a head, quickly rushed over and wailed in despair, seeing that his store window was now completely shattered and littered all over the sidewalk and display floor.

He then turned to Slendithera, his hands on his hips

“I hope you’re going to replace my store window” said the store clerk, glaring at the Porcelain Monster with his strange single eye.

Slendithera took a few deep breaths before finally managing to calm down, the mouth in her chest hissing, the long sharp teeth seeming to click in annoyance.

She then sighed, hanging her head as the chest mouth disappeared.

“Sorry about that. Just needed to calm down, and I think your store window did the trick” said the Porcelain Monster, turning and walking away.

The store clerk, angered and annoyed, tried calling out to her as she walked down the street.

“Hey! Come back and pay for the damage you caused to my store!” called the store clerk, glaring at her.

He then sighed and hung his head, but was then startled when a random Rat denizen came running over and snatched one of the display mannequins, laughing as he ran off with it.

“Hey!” called the store clerk, his attention now focused on the Rat running off with one of his display mannequins.

Slendithera just ignored this as she continued to walk down the street, tuning out all of the commotion going on around her as some random denizens began to pick a fight. It was a fight between two Sharks and two Spiders, both groups screaming at one another with weapons drawn.

Seeing this, she crossed the street to avoid the small group of denizens, having a feeling that this was only a small turf war that she didn’t want to get roped into accidentally.

As she continued to walk, her mind began to wander, causing her to zone out and not pay too much attention to where she was walking.

Sure, she thought she had been doing the right thing by leaving home without first talking to their mom about it, but now she was afraid of what the consequences of her actions would be once the postcard reaches home.

She just wanted to know that her sister was alright, and she’s happy to see that she is.

“Oh man, I was stupid. Venno was right, and so was that really nice Bat lady” said Slendithera, sighing.

She left home without talking to anyone about how she was feeling. All she did was leave a note without even a proper goodbye, like a normal denizen would. She let her eagerness to leave take over her mind, which in turn caused her not to even consider how her mom and brother would feel the moment they returned home to find she was also gone.
