Becoming the Hunter (Story 2 - Part 3)

With Venno:

The Velociraptor had decided to go to the Bounty Hunter Agency the next day, eager to see what they had to offer her.

She had walked around the streets for a while before spotting a tall building with a sign saying 'Boss Enterprise', and a glass building that said 'Terronto City Science Facility'.

In between the two buildings, was in fact, a building with the sign saying 'Bounty Hunter Agency'.

Venno smiled as she quickly picked up the pace, walking faster until she was now in front of the doors to the building.

She entered, seeing that the lobby was large and filled with several denizens rushing around, some carrying paperwork while others were on the phone.

Venno decided to ask the receptionist for Jerry, not wanting to wait around, walking up to the front desk.

There was a white Persian Cat filing her claws, talking on the phone with someone and barely paying attention.

"Excuse me. I was told to come here by Jerry 'Sniper' Rifele" said Venno, resting a hand on her hip as she tilted her head to the side.

The Persian Cat paused in what she had been talking about, looking up at Venno with a raised eyebrow before shrugging.

"Just a moment, Dalia" said the Persian Cat, speaking on her phone before picking up the receiver of another phone on her desk, quickly dialing in a number.

"Mr.Rifele, there's a Velociraptor waiting down here for you....uh-huh....ok, I'll tell her" said the Persian Cat, speaking to whom Venno could only assume to be Jerry.

The Persian Cat hung up the phone before continuing with her claws, not even glancing up at Venno.

"He'll be right down. Just take a seat over there" said the Persian Cat, pointing over at a waiting area with her file before continuing to file her claws.

Venno nodded, turning and walking over to the waiting area, taking a seat on one of the chairs.

The Velociraptor glanced over at the other denizens who were waiting, seeing that the majority of them were Canines or Felines.

Looking around, Venno saw that almost half of the staff consisted of Canines or Felines. The other half appeared to be a variety of different denizen species, such as Lizards, Spiders, or even Inanimate objects.

As the Velociraptor continued to look around, she was suddenly startled by a familiar voice.

"Well, look who it is. The Velociraptor who killed my bounty, yesterday" said the familiar Wolf Hound, his arms crossed as he walked over.

Walking beside him was the Pomeranian who Venno also recalled from the day before, smiling and looking a little timid.

Venno noted that the Wolf Hound was wearing a white T-shirt, a leather jacket, and a pair of dark blue jeans as opposed to what he had been wearing the day before.

The Pomeranian was wearing the same blazer and skirt from yesterday, meaning she was in her uniform.

"Oh yeah. It's me. Hey, I thought you were supposed to be on vacation" said Venno sarcastically, chuckling as she crossed her arms.

The Wolf Hound scoffed, rolling his eyes.

"I am. UNPAYED by the way. But I'm here to see what the new recruits have to offer in terms of training. I usually like to watch them in the training facility when I'm not hunting" muttered the Wolf Hound, shrugging as he glanced away.
