Brother's Rage (Story 8 - Part 3)

With Venno: 

The Toxic Sludge was confused and a bit taken back by what his sisters had just told him.

“What do you MEAN I stole from a casino!? Mom and I just decided to go on vacation this week instead of next month because mom was going to be busy with work during the week we were supposed to go!” exclaimed Rad, his fists clenched as he tried to remember what had happened after he left the hotel room. 

“And you say you don’t recall anything at all?” asked Slendithera, the Porcelain Monster crossing her arms and tilting her head to the side. 

The Toxic Sludge continued to glare at them, growling in anger. 

“Yes! That’s what I just said!” said the Toxic Sludge bitterly. 

Slendithera raised her arms in surrender as Venno sighed and rested a hand on her hip. 

“Did you maybe eat or drink anything after you left the hotel room? Did you smell anything at all? Maybe whatever caused you to go mad was airborne and you breathed it in” asked venno as she tried to brainstorm ideas on what could have caused their brother to rampage the way he did. 

Rad’s eyes widened before he began thinking, humming as he rested a hand on his chin. 

“Hmmm…..let me think, it’s been…oh man, how many days was I rampaging for?” asked Rad as he tried to remember what day it was. 

Venno frowned worried, her arms now crossed. 

“About…two days. You went missing around the same time as the robbery. Mom is SO worried about you, you know. You literally up and vanished on her, and because of the robbery, the entire casino had gone on lockdown so she was unable to go looking for you” explained Venno, the Velociraptor deciding to tell him the truth. 

Rad hissed as he shut his eyes, his body now tense. 

“That long, huh? Again…I can’t remember everything that happened exactly, but…I do remember bumping into someone who was carrying a tray full of what looked like mints after getting out of the elevator. The guy was really pissed about it, too. He literally dropped to his knees and started searching for something amongst the mints all frantic. I didn’t stick around after that” admitted Rad with a shrug, having recalled only this before everything went black. 

Venno and Slendithera exchanged glances, the two now thinking.
“Hmm, maybe when you bumped into the guy with the mints, one of them was laced with something?” asked Slendithera, the Porcelain Monster turning to Venno, hoping the Velociraptor also came to the same conclusion as her. 

Venno also hummed, but she nodded. 

“You’re a Toxic Sludge, meaning your body can absorb things and disintegrate them depending on what they are. Perhaps some of the mints fell into your body without you realizing it, and one of them happened to be laced” said Venno in agreement. 

Slendithera nodded, the Porcelain Monster smiling. 

“That could also explain why the guy was trying to find something amongst them. Only one of them might have been laced, and it might have been slightly different compared to the rest that he would have been able to recognize it easily” concluded Slendithera, the Porcelain Monster resting her hands on her hips as the two sisters turned to their brother. 

Rad could only stand there in shock, an incredulous look on his face as though none of what they said made sense to him. 

“You can’t be serious, right? Why would someone want to lace a single mint when they could have done that to the two tries!? It makes no sense, you don’t even know if the denizen you’re trying to give it to will eat that one!  Anyway, what-” began Rad, but was startled when he saw some cars quickly driving towards the factory, sirens blaring loudly.
