The Bounty and the Hunter (Story 19 - Part 3)

With Venno: 

The Velociraptor, her family, and Jerry all got off the train. 

They had just made it to New Helleans, the city being located on a bayou with the swampland and river close by. 

From the train station, after getting off the train, Venno could see the harbor and a large riverboat with the sunsetting just over the horizon. 

The Velociraptor wasn’t sure about it, but she actually really liked the look of a city at night, especially if it was surrounded by a large bayou and swampland. 

The Velociraptor was wearing a dress she bought. It was a thigh length dress with no sleeves, a black collar with strings attached to the dress. She was also wearing a pair of black fishnet leggings and opera length fishnet gloves, both being a little ripped. Venno’s hair was done up a little curlier, but it still remained in its normal style. 

Around her neck remained the choker that Dexx had gifted her, the Velociraptor gently bringing a hand up to run along the three gems before sighing. 

Venno glanced over at her family and Jerry.

Thorn and Rad were still wearing what they normally wore, but it appeared that Thorn had chosen to wear a nicer fur cape with a different helmet whereas Rad appeared to be wearing a tuxedo with his fedora. 

Slendithera was still wearing a purple dress with some rips in it, but the dress was longer in the back than in the front, as opposed to her usual thigh length hooded dress with a flared skirt. Her hair was out of its ponytail, the Porcelain Monster choosing to wear it out. Pinned a choker collar of her own was the deputy’s badge that she had received as a gift from Harry, the Porcelain Monster having cherished it ever since she got it. 

Queen Pin was wearing a nice looking dress with a side slit, the dress going down to her knees, and her hair was tied up in a nice bun. The dress she was wearing was half sparkly red and half black, and the shoes she wore matched in color but on opposite sides. 

Jerry, on the other hand, just looked about the same, the older Spider choosing not to change into anything nicer looking. 

“Alright, when we get on that boat, remember what we’re there to do. Find Dexx, and keep an eye on him until you can get me to go talk to him. He knows Slendithera, and I think he might know Rad” said Venno, the Velociraptor frowning and crossing her arms. 

Thorn and Queen Pin frowned and nodded in understanding, Slendithera nodded in excitement, and Rad just shrugged. 

Jerry took a quick puff from his cigar, the older Spider frowning. 

“If I could, I’d just have stayed home. The Anglerfish will recognize me right away even though we haven’t met face to face. Besides, I was told to stay by your side since I’m the former CEO of the BHA, and you’re taking my place” said Jerry, the older Spider clearly not happy he was there. 

Venno nodded in understanding and agreement, the Velociraptor rolling her eyes. 

“Right, you don’t have to stay by my side the entire time, but we’ll try to stay close. Now then, here’s Dexx’s wanted poster so you know what he looks like. Maybe ask around and see if anyone’s seen him” said Venno, the Velociraptor handing an extra wanted poster of Dexx that she had Scott make to her parents.

Thorn took the wanted poster, the Skeletal Viking and Voodoo Doll both examining the image of Dexx. 

“Oh, he’s cute. You chose the right guy to have a baby with” said Queen Pin, the Voodoo Doll smirking as she looked up at her eldest daughter.
