The art is by @ smoomkin on Instagram :] (that's also how I imagined their outfits in this btw)
Minecraft au :]. Normally when I write, I imagine them looking like/acting like their minecraft skins/their online personas and stuff (besides Dream since a green and white blob is a little whack, but still, his online persona). So yeah, I never really explained that lol, so that's why I say Sapnap has dark hair, cuz his minecraft skin does, ya know.
I wrote a dreamnotnap oneshot called "solar system" 😎 I posted it separately, so if you'd like to read it, just go to my account :]
tw// mentions of fighting, scars, blood, mobs (like zombies and stuff, idk if that's really a trigger, but just in case)

George sat in the upstairs part of his home, cleaning off his tools and placing them back into his satchel, making sure his canteen was full with cold water, although the harsh sun would turn it warm somewhat quickly.
Living in a village, especially one on the outskirts of the other larger villages, had a lot of pros and cons.
Living away from the larger areas, that had a lot of resources, made getting things like iron, gold, and diamonds difficult, unless you went mining for three hours, just to get full iron armor.
But, the definitive pro of living far out in a plains biome, is that there is so much farm land to work with, as well as a wonderful river running along the right side of the village, a good 50 meters away from his house. Which that part was perfect, since he had taken over the job of the farmer of the surrounding area, so the close water was great.
After slinging the bag over his head to rest on his shoulder, so it layed across his body, he climbed down the ladder to the bottom floor of his home, sorting a few things out of his bag to make the load lighter, moving over some uneeded blocks and mob loot.
After deciding he was fully prepared, he made his way out of the house, grabbing the lantern that hung on a hook by the front door. He always got up extra early on week-days, making sure to get all the more tortuous work done when the bright sun wasn't beating down on him, so the lantern was much needed.
He walked the short distance to the farm bed, himself working with crops rather than cattle and other animals. He hung the lantern up on a nearby tree, with an identical hook stuck into the wood, to hold up the light. He grabbed the needed tools from his bag, a hoe (lol), a bucket, and a bag full of seeds he had recently collected.
The sun was still low in the sky, just brimming the horizon with its light, causing the sky to turn a lighter blue, gradually turning into a darker shade at the top. Where the sun was, it was a little to late and cloudless for the bright pinks and oranges to cascade the brunets vision, not that he'd be able to see it anyway.
After going through a chest that sat next to the corner of the raised farm (imagine the regular farms you see in villages, but a bit bigger), he grabbed a bag that contained bone meal, putting that into his pants pocket.
Joining that pocket, the bag of seeds was placed inside, and the hoe was set to lean against the tree. With the bucket in hand, he walked the quiet trip down to the flowing river, collecting some water and making his way back up.
His main job for the day was to extend the farm off to the right slightly, replant all the wheat, after he farmed what had already grown, and replace some of the diminished water that lay inbetween the lines of wheat.
Once he had finished extending the farm, and replanting the seeds, the sun was much higher up in the sky, compared to before, making the whole sky a light blue and making it much easier to see what he was doing.
