Work had been over loading the two.

With George, working a part time job during the week at a coding company as well as being a small YouTuber -coding plug-ins and recording in his free time-, and Dream, also working during the week as well as having later shifts, they barely got to see eachother.

They only really got to spend time together on Saturdays, and even with that, Dream was usually exhausted, sleeping in and not really having the energy to go out. George never forced him to do anything of course, taking nice break days and snuggling on the couch together, letting their bodies and minds rest.

They both needed a nice break away from work, a vacation of sorts.

A particularly long week had wrecked Dream.

He had to pick up a few shifts from other coworkers, since they would be out for the week and the extra pay would be greatly appreciated. So, he had to get up earlier on a few days, work some afternoon shifts, take about a two hour break, and then go to his evening shifts. He worked almost double his usual hours at the end of the week.

It was finally Saturday, sleeping in way later than usual, and George was already up and recording something with their friend, Sapnap.

He usually tried to record on Sundays, just so they'd have a full day to spend together on Saturdays, but with the blond being out like a light, Dream can understand why he'd take the time given to him.

George always thought ahead when it came to YouTube. Coding, recording, editing, thumbnail making, and everything else happened on Sundays, or during the week when he had a break, usually in the afternoons since Dream was at work.

About half an hour later, the brunet came out of his office, looking rather tired. For George, his coding job was only a part-time, but there had been a lot more opportunities that week to work a bit more and get payed, since their company had signed a contract with another company, saying they'd do a lot of coding for them.

So, basically, George had stared at screen all week and was now exhausted.

The brunet saw Dream, who was groggly watching TV in the living room, eating toast with jelly on it. He went over and sat down next to him, and layed his head down on his tall boyfriends lap, snuggling into his thigh.

"I need a long ass break" George groaned quietly, drawing calming circles into the blonds leg with his thumb.

"We should go on vacation for a week or something, sleep in and just hangout" Dream proposed, playing with the mop of dark chocolate brown hair in his lap.

They'd had this same talk before, about a month prior. Work was growing more exhausting but they couldn't take the week off at the time, because of some family issues with George. The brunet had gone to London and visited his family for a few days, because his grandmother had passed. He had used his sick days instead of vacation days for the trip, and with so much backed up work he couldn't take a week off.

But now, the circumstances had changed and he could use those days now.

"Wait," George shot up at that, looking right into Dream's green eyes. "Don't your parents own a cabin? it's on a lake or something in the forest? I remember your mum talking about it when she came over last week for dinner."
