Visiting family for the holidays was always exhausting. The drive to Dream's parents house felt hours longer than it actually was, bringing bags up to the blonds old room after walking up one too many stairs, and then helping out Dream's mom with decorating all qualified for a long nap.

George had yawned and stretched out his arms after sitting down on the couch, Dream's mom noticing his tired state. He hadn't been able to take a nap during the drive there, due to the fact that his boyfriend wanted to get iced coffee before they left, and who was he to say no to an iced pumpkin latte?

But now, his past decisions were weighing on him.

"Honey, you can go up to Dream's room and take a nap if you'd like? Were all done with decorations untill his sister gets here anyway, and that won't be untill later" the blonds mother offered, lighting a few apple cinnamon candles above the fire place.

"I should... Thank you, do you know where he is?" George asked, standing up and getting ready to go back up those too long stairs.

"I think he's still helping his dad with cleaning out the garage so we have more parking spaces" she said with a small laugh, "I'll tell him where you are when he gets in."

"Thanks" George offered a kind smile and she grinned back, and the brunet can clearly see where Dream's bright smile came from.

He finally turned and headed up the stairs, feeling along the old oak railing and hearing a few creaks as he walked up the steps. He remembers a stupid story that Dream had told him about when he was younger, he and his older sister Daisy had decided to sit in a laundry basket and go down the stairs, almost breaking the plant pot at the end of it. He huffed softly at the reminder of his boyfriends stupidity and headed into the youngers old room.

Light blue wallpaper lined the walls, as well as old movie posters and framed pictures. Dream's bed had dark green sheets, and matching pillow cases. He layed down on the plush comforter and grabbed the light green throw blanket from the end of the bed, curling up on the soft mattress. It wasn't long before his eyes closed to finally rest.

~~~
A couple hours passed and he heard the front door close loudly as well as some greetings from downstairs. He figured Daisy had arrived, as well as her two sons. He sat up and looked over at the clock on the wall, seeing it was around 5:30 p.m.
Rowdy footsteps traveled up the stairs, and George laughed softly at the sound of Dream's voice from down the hall.
Stretching for the nth time that day, he stood up and ventured out to find his boyfriend. His mouth felt dry and a weird taste settled on his tounge. He shook his had is if that would get rid of it.
As he walked out of the bedroom he heard Dream as well as two younger boys and loud laughter coming from a couple rooms down.
George started down the hallway, looking into one of the rooms where the door was cracked open.
Dream layed in the center of the room, messing around with his two nephews who were play wrestling. Both younger boys were holding down the blonds hands, Dream barely fighting back as to let them win.
One of the boys started counting down from 5 and when he hit 0 both younger boys cheered in victory since they won over their uncle.
Dream looked over as he heard the sound of the door opening a bit more, seeing George stare lovingly at him. He smiled brightly and sat up, pulling on of the boys into his lap and tickling him. Both of the nephews laughed, the other one that was free from being tickled trying to help his brother escape.
George couldn't help but imagine a life like this all of the time for him and Dream, imagining a kid in their life that they could take care of and make their life special.
He imagined trips to the park and scraped knees covered in multi-colored bandaids, he imagined first days of school and graduations. He couldn't help but think about play fighting in the living room on the carpet, ending in warm laughs and beaming smiles.
Dream was always such a bright person, and the idea of having a kid with him was not at all scary. In past relationships he had thought about it once or twice and was terrified of the thought, but with Dream life wasn't so scary.
Once the boy was free from Dream's grasp the blond stood up and walking over to George, holding the shorters hands.
"How was your nap, sleeping beauty?" the green-eyed boy teased, leaning on the door frame the same way George was.
"I could of slept for longer, but it's fine" the brit joked back, looking down at the sound of two pairs of foot steps.
Both of the nephews bolted to Dream and where gripping his legs, the slightly taller one tugging on George's shirt to get his attention.
"Whats up?" George asked the boy, cocking his head to the side.
"Do you wanna play with us?" the boy asked excitedly, practically jumping out of his skin. The other brother seemed to be more shy than him, slightly reserved.
"Tommy, why don't you and Tubbo show George your favorite game?" Dream said to the younger boys, seeing the smaller brunet perk up at the mention of it.
Both of them nodded and ran off to a bag in the room, dumping out a bunch of stuffed animals that were all from Minecraft. Tommy began pretending that he was fighting off the mobs, Tubbo cheering him on as he kept the animals safe.
George laughed softly and leaned into his boyfriends chest.
Yeah, he could definitely imagine a life like this with Dream.
