"You know what's the one wrong thing we all do when we fall in love?
WE EXPECT.
And it just ruins everything."The weekend came to an end and, with Andrea's words of insight constantly tugging at his mind, David was determined to get out of bed and get back on track. He couldn't believe how much schoolwork he had missed in a week, making him realize he had a lot of catching up to do.
However, none of that was worse than having to sit through drama class and accept the fact that Eva would no longer sit by him. That she would no longer rehearse with him. Clap for him. Make fun of his tongue-ties when trying to recite his lines. Share a Hollywood dream with him.
He thought of her the whole hour.
Sofia yawned and stretched under the bed sheets before turning on her side to snuggle into Richard. The three blunts they had killed together still had her feeling quite loopy. Though still asleep, her movements caused him to stir a bit and drape his arm around her. This definitely beat sitting in a classroom like she was supposed to be, and curious to know how much time she had left of this moment, she lifted her head slightly enough to see the time on his clock.
A loud gasp escaped her as her eyes boggled out and jolted up. "Babe!" She began to shake him belligerently.
"What?" he groaned, his eyes refusing to open.
