Tonight we're gonna touch a little different.
Tonight we're gonna kiss a little different.
I'm gonna make your body feel a little different.
-Keri Hilson, "Make Love"Daphne was in the bed listening to music on her phone as she waited impatiently for Eduardo to get home. She found it incredible to miss him so much over the few hours he wasn't there, even though she always spent the first half of the day with him. She looked at the time and pulled his number up to text him.
Daphne: hurry up love!!!
I miss u!!!Eddy: I'm almost done babe
but Richard might be coming over tooDaphne: ???
for what!?Eddy: he got kicked out and needs a place to stay
just tonight tho
he's crashing on the sofaDaphne: Ok
well i'm waiting for uuuu
I loooove uuuu! That made him feel a lot better about all the crap Richard had said. He knew his Daphne would never betray him that way, especially not with a loser like Richard, and that was enough to ease him for the remainder of his shift.
When he finished everything up and dumped out all the garbage, he went to meet Richard in the parking lot, who was in the middle of finishing another cigarette.
Richard tossed it away when he saw him approaching and straightened himself up, ready to fight him. But when all Eduardo did was evade him to unlock his car and get in, Richard turned to look at him with confusion.
Eduardo rolled his window down to impatiently ask, "Are you getting in or not?"
Richard stared back at him dubiously a moment, then hesitantly went around to the passenger side.
"Where are we going?" Richard wondered, still perplexed even though the route seemed to be leading to the house.
"To a bar to go have drinks like the best friends we are," Eduardo replied with pronounced sarcasm. "Where else would we be going, dumbass? Home."
