"If you change your mind,
I'm the first in line.
Take a chance on me."
-ABBA"Look who's having lunch with us!" Enrique bragged to Daniel and Marvin.
"Hey!" They greeted Daphne, standing next to Enrique.
Then someone cleared their throat behind her and they all turned to look.
"Eva?" Daphne uttered in surprise.
"Hey, I was wondering if I could eat with you guys," she asked shyly.
"Of course!" Daniel chirped as they all smiled.
Eva took a seat with them, beside Daphne.
Daniel watched the two begin to pick at their food next to each other like they were strangers. "So what brings you ladies to our group?"
"I just don't wanna see Eduardo."
"And I don't wanna see David."
Daphne was intrigued by Eva's reason but didn't feel comfortable asking why.
Fortunately, Enrique did. "We already know why you don't wanna see Eduardo," he said to Daphne and then turned to Eva, "but what did David do to you?"
"He's just been upsetting me a lot lately," she offered simply.
"Once you girls spend time with us, you won't even want to go back to them," Marvin assured them as he typed something on his laptop.
Eva and Daphne looked at each other and exchanged a smile. Daphne was surprised to see Eva smile to or with her. In the few weeks that she knew her, she hadn't seen her smile much. It made her look extremely sweet when she did, though.
A while later, Daphne received a text and thought for sure that it would be Eduardo. He had already texted her a few minutes ago asking where she was, but she had ignored it.
This time it was David asking the same thing.

Oh and Eva
