"I cannot believe he said that!" Andrea yelled after taking Daphne away from the table for privacy. "He seriously implied that you must've slept with someone else?"
"Pretty much." Daphne chocked on a sob. "I really needed him to be supportive, Drea. But all he did was walk away like it had nothing to do with him. I can't do this on my own. I think I'll just have to consider adoption like you said."
