"Smile, beautiful.
For it takes a lot of madness to put up with so much crap."

Arguing was all that could be heard in a small cell downtown. All the teenagers that had failed to outrun the cops were in there, listening to Eduardo and Daphne bicker over whose fault it was that they were behind bars. The two were too preoccupied snarling back and forth to care that they had an audience.

"What kind of retard locks himself in a closet while his own house is being invaded by wild teenagers, meanwhile his aunt is out of the country trusting that he's being responsible?!" Daphne attacked with a mean scowl scrunching her face in his direction.

"Forgive me for trying to knock some sense into my jealous girlfriend who insisted she wanted to leave. Forgive me for trying to make her listen. For trying to talk to her and make her understand. You're right, I should have just let her go and not gave a fuck. I'm such a retard," he defensively barked back.

Daphne erupted in scornful laughter. "How the hell did you expect her to react after you fought a guy over another girl that isn't your girlfriend! Did you expect her to fall in love with you? To put out? What?!"

Eduardo rolled his eyes, stifling a frustrated groan. "We talked about this already, dammit!"

"Yea, well, now that I've actually given it some thought, I think my dad was right. We rushed into this and it clearly shows."

"What's that supposed to mean? You regret accepting to be my girlfriend?"

"Yes!" she instantly replied. "I very much do regret it. I wouldn't be in here right now if it wasn't for you!" She motioned her hands to the bars encasing them.

"Fine!" He shouted. His thread of patience had finally snapped apart. "As of now, we're through! I won't bother you anymore. I won't speak to you, I won't look at you, I won't think about you. We're done!"
