"It's not that I'm in love with her, I barely know her... you know?"
David nodded, refilling Eduardo's glass as he listened to him vent.
"It just frustrates me that if she dumps me for this guy, it means I broke Sofia's heart for no reason."
"You weren't in love with Sofia. You were gonna break her heart anyway," David pointed out, handing him the drink.
"No, but if I hadn't wasted my time with this girl that's surely gonna leave me once her ex is here, Sofia and I would still be together and maybe I could have eventually fallen in love with her."
David shook his head and placed his palm under Eduardo's glass to push it towards his mouth, encouraging him to: "Just drink it away, bro."
Eduardo had a sip and continued to ramble on. "In the end, I'm gonna lose both of them. It was bound to happen though. I fucking deserve it."
"Forget about those two for now. They don't exist, okay? But you know who does?"
Eduardo nodded for an answer.
"Rachel... Jasmine... uhh... what was that one girl's name?" David sipped as he dug through his head. "Oh yea, Jackie!"
"You talking about your sluts?"
David nodded with a smile.
"Fuck outta here, I don't want your sloppy seconds."
"And yet you went ahead and fucked my ex-girlfriend..." David scoffed.
Eduardo wanted to argue it but couldn't come up with a valid defense on the spot.
"Anyways, you need one of them right now. One that's gonna give you good head, not headaches."
Eduardo shook his head again but David insisted, pulling his phone out to look through his contact list.
"Stop. Don't call anyone."
"Why not? You wanna spend your birthday weekend here moping around? Oh my god!" David exclaimed once he came across an interesting name on his endless list. "Vanessa! She's the one! I'm gonna get you this one."
Eduardo grabbed David's phone out of his hand before he could tap the call button. "Just stop, bro. I don't want any of your hoes."
"I promise you'll like her. No, you're gonna love her! She has the best ass and these juicy lips. Best BJ I've had in my whole entire life. No kidding." He was getting excited just reminiscing and after a few contemplating seconds, he shook his head. "No, you know what, hell no. I change my mind. I'm getting her for me instead... I'll get Rachel for you. She's pretty good too."
"David, STOP!" Eduardo tossed David his phone back. "I don't want any of them."
David laughed and shot his hands up defensively. "Alright, alright. Shit, calmate. I'm just trying to help you, but whatever. Keep moping there like a little bitch if you want."
Eduardo let his head fall back on the couch. "I just want Daphne," he murmured.
Then they both snapped their head to the door when Eva suddenly stepped in.
"Hey, sorry, I thought Sofia might be here with you guys." Her eyes shot down to the nearly empty bottle on the floor. She walked over to them where they were sitting on the loveseat, in what was supposed to be David's room for the night. "You guys are gonna be so hungover tomorrow."
