The next day, Eva stood under the cascading shower head rinsing the soap off her body when she heard her phone ding. She slid the curtain aside to pick it up from the rug and read the text.

David: Hey I'm here

Eva: Ok almost ready.
Be out soon.
Door's open if u wanna come in.

David grumbled silently at the fact that she wasn't ready yet. He was anxious to head over to Eduardo's and hear all about how he impregnated Daphne.

He planned to wait for Eva in his car until his bladder coaxed him to take advantage of her invitation and use her bathroom. He scurried in through the unlocked front door and headed straight to it, but when he opened the door Eva was just stepping out of the tub.

After a piercing shriek, her hand flew to the shower curtain, pulling it to her and pressing it to the front of her body.

All the while, David rigidly stood there gaping wide, unable to peel his eyes away as if the curtain wasn't yet covering her. "Daayyumm, Eva!" The words stumbled out his lips stupidly.

"DAVID!! Get out!!"

"Shit! Sorry!" He grabbed the knob, shutting the door on his way out, but a thick smile was still planted on his face.

He took a seat on the living room sofa while he waited for her to get ready. It took her longer than usual to come out and sit by him, ready to leave. Neither of them said a word for a long pair of awkward seconds.

Finally, an inevitable grin spread across David's face. "Eva, you got it going on under there!"

She grumbled in embarrassment and dropped her face into her hands, hiding her crimson cheeks in them.

He chuckled as he rubbed her back comfortingly. "Don't be embarrassed. If anything, you should be smiling. I'm complimenting you."

She kept her face hidden, mortified as David's ogling eyes kept playing in her mind.
