Elmer! Your child almost always asks to be read this tale, so much so that John knows the words off by heart at this point. But he's not complaining - the moral of the story is incredibly sweet and exactly what you want your child to know. Being different isn't a bad thing.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe! Jim gets really into reading this tale, not just for the child but for himself as well. You suggested it because of it's incredible sense of adventure, and that really interests Jim.

Winnie the Pooh! This classic set of tales has such incredible characters with amazing stories. The morals are always on point, and taught in such an interesting way. Greg especially loves it because he used to read them as a child too.
