Sherlock, for like the first time ever it seems, would be a bit speechless because it's completely fine. He knows that and you know that, so he doesn't want to over comfort you so that you feel weird about it or 'different', but then he doesn't want to under comfort you so that you feel odd or like he doesn't care. But he doesn't have to worry, because you smile and throw your arms around him in a massive hug. It catches him off guard, but he smiles and cuddles you back until you decide to let go.
JOHN

You weren't nervous to tell John at all until you actually faced him and began to speak. He could tell you were a bit uncomfortable, so he encouraged you on and tried to make your nervousness a bit more light hearted. You giggled through tears and told him, and he just smiled and told you how proud he is of you for being brave enough to come out.

Jim is honoured to be the first person you told, and his excitement is so clear when he runs up to you and spins you around in his arms in a hug you've never experienced before. All your fear and anxiety about what other people will think or how they will react melts away because you know you have someone so proud of you on your side. He offers you a place to stay and says you can talk to him about it whenever if you need to because he understands that in some cases, other people may not take it the same way as him. He is so loving and supportive and proud that you can almost hear him buzzing.

He is so glad you were comfortable enough and trusting enough to tell him, and he will ask if you want to talk to him about it without just straight away asking you questions. He doesn't want to get anything wrong, so he asks his questions cautiously, and the more you grow confident in answering, the wider his smile becomes because he is so proud of your calm demeanour and confidence. He loves you no matter who you love or identify as, and he tells you that but he knows you know it already.

You tell him and he breaks out into the biggest smile you've ever seen on him. You cry at his acceptance, and then cry even more when he tells you how proud he is of you and how happy he is that you told him. He comforts you and talks to you for as long as you need until your confident and happy. Then he tries to make you laugh and smile, and when you do, he beams - he loves seeing you happy and comfortable.
