He'd only take a second to breathe before plunging into a seemingly never ending cacophony of deductions masking vague insults. Despite the person he is insulting having next to no idea that Sherlock is completely pummelling them with his skill, he'll still feel as though he has beaten them and taught them a lesson. Honestly, it's cute to watch.

He'll stop them in their tracks, before they even get a chance to finish their sentence. Then he'll either warn them or clap back with the sassiest shit he can think of. It comes very naturally for him, so he won't have to pause and think. Whatever is on his tongue will spill out - no matter how ugly it is.

His claws are coming out. No ifs or buts. Whether that be a verbal assault or physical one, he won't let them get away with insulting his love. He's not worried about their retaliation if they try it; he's got snipers hidden somewhere so that should be enough defence.

Any insult meant for you hurts Greg just as much. You are his world, and if someone tries to hurt that, even a little, he'll become very defensive. He'll try to keep his voice calm, but he's making no guarantees that he won't end up shouting.

He can get very petty if someone insults you. He'll call out their flaws or make fun of them in someway. It almost appears childish as he argues with someone else - mainly because his power is enough to shut anyone's mouth in the first place. But if they don't retreat, he'll make veiled threats or make them experience something like what he did to John in the first episode (i.e. scare him by showing him the control he has over the camera's etc...).
