It depends who's asking. His automatic response is to defend you and say what's it to you or why, but if it's someone who he knows is your friend then his entire demeanour changes and he looks genuinely happy. You're relationship is going great, and Sherlock loves to tell people that.

John is so happy with you, and everyone can tell that when they ask him about you. His light hearted nature comes forward, and any hard demeanour he may have had slips away. Merely the mention of you is disarming to him.

It's very rare that anyone dares to ask how you are to him, because most of the time they are just scared to ask him anything anyway. But for the occasional person who does, they get to see how happy you make him. He smiles wide and is willing to have a chat to them about you and what you've been up to and how everything is going.

Greg blushes and gets a bit embarrassed because even he can feel the heat. He smiles and answers quite stiffly, but that's because he likes to keep a lot of your life private, and anyway, he's too shy to continue a conversation when he's as red a cherry.
