He's very nervous, not because he's worried about meeting them, but he's scared of letting you down. He doesn't want to upset you or make you embarrassed, so he tries his best to distract himself from saying his deductions or trying to outsmart them. But he can't help but show off a little, picking up an old violin from your parents living room and playing something for them. Luckily, your parents are just impressed, and don't see it as him trying to show off.

John is a little nervous at first, but quickly becomes comfortable next to you. He's polite and well mannered, but still manages to joke around with your dad. You know he made a good impression when you leave, and he is beyond proud of himself for doing so.

Jim is very comfortable with your parents: funny and witty but charming and polite. Your parents love him, and you find it amusing how much they already treat him like a son. He winks at you at a few points, and you can't help but smirk at how much a gentleman your criminal boyfriend can be.

Greg is in pieces through out the whole meeting, embarrassing himself several times over and flushing red more times than you can count. But your parents find his humility sweet, and they can see how hard he is trying to impress them. They conclude that he is perfect for you, and both give him a hug just before you both head home.
MYCROFT

Mycroft is completely at ease, laid back in the chair and comfortable. He engages your parents in very interesting conversation - thought provoking and enough for him to see what kind of people your parents are. From there, he knows exactly what to say to impress them, and what to avoid. Confidently, he leaves knowing how much your parents like him.
