Roman was getting ready to leave for the day. He went to his boyfriend, Virgil's, room to say bye. He walked in and Virgil looked up at him.
"Hey, Stormcloud," Roman said with a smile.
"Hey, Ro," Virgil responded.
"I'm heading off for the day, so I came to say bye," Roman said. "So bye. I love you, Stormcloud."
"Oh, okay. Bye, Ro," Virgil said, glancing up from his phone again.
"I love you."
"Have fun. Bye."
"Love you."
"Bye."
Roman's smiles dropped fully. "I love you. I'm leaving now."
"Have fun."
"Say it back," Roman basically whined. Virgil glanced up at him, raising his eyebrow.
"What?"
"I said I loved you and that I was leaving and all you said was 'have fun' and 'bye'."
"Okay?"
Roman walked over and sat on the edge of Virgil's bed. He put his arms around him. "I love you!"
"I love you, too, Ro," Virgil hugs back. He was holding back a laugh.
"Finally!" Roman said, his smiles coming back. He kisses Virgil on the cheek.

Patton: I'm sorry, Kiddo, but you have to do school.
Logan: Mason, you need school. Don't you know how important school is?
Me: Yes, Logan. I've heard you rant about how important school plenty of times.
Me: *eye roll*
Patton: Kiddo, be nice. Logan just gets patient about school and learning.
Me: Yeah, I know. He is literally logic.
Logan: *adjusts his tie* That is correct.
Me: Well, I guess should start school now...
Patton: Have a great day, Kiddo!
Logan: Learn as much as you can.
Me: You guys sound like such parents...
Patton: *giggle* Well, I am the dad!
Me: *smirk* So Logan is the mom?
