"I missed you more!"

Virgil was hugging Roman, tight. "Don't leave," he mumbled, tears in his eyes.

"I have to," Roman sighed. He put his hands on Virgil's face making him look at him. He used his thumb and whipped the tears off Virgil's face. "I'll be back sooner than you think. I'm sorry. I don't want to go either, but you know I still have to go."

Roman kissed Virgil's head. "I'll be back as soon as I can," he said. "I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you more," Virgil said.

Virgil was curled up on Roman's bed, cuddled in one of Roman's red hoodies, which was very big on Virgil. He was sniffing trying not to cry. Roman had been gone for a week already, but the two haven't been able to talk at all. They have no way to stay in contact with each other while Roman is on the mission.

The door of Roman's room opened and there was a soft knock. Virgil looked up, to see Patton walk into the room.

"Hey, Kiddo," Patton said quietly, as he walked over.

"Hi..." Virgil mumbled. He wiped his tear-stained face.

"You doing okay, Kiddo?"

"*sigh* I'm worried. What if something happens to him? What if he gets badly injured? What if he dies?" By this point, Virgil was already crying again. He keeps rambling about all the things that could go wrong.

Patton wrapped his arms around Virgil, hugging him. "It's okay, Virgil. Everything's going to be okay."

"How do you know that?" Virgil asked. "There's no way to contact him."

"I know because I can feel it, in my heart. It's going to be okay."

Virgil was asleep in Roman's bed, after having cried himself to sleep for the millionth time since Roman left two and a half weeks ago. Roman just got back from his mission. He was greeted by Patton and Logan. Patton ended up telling him how worried Virgil was the whole time he was gone.

Roman walked into his room and smiled as he saw sleeping Virgil. He put his stuff down, took a shower, and got changed into some sweatpants. He walked over to the bed. He got into the bed, cuddling Virgil. He fell asleep after a short time.

Virgil slowly came to consciousness. He felt so warm, safe, comfortable, and was about to go back to sleep when he realized there was an arm over him. His eyes snapped open, as he looked down at the arm. He turned and started silently crying. He turned around fully. He cuddled into the person that he loved and missed so much.

Roman rubbed Virgil's back softly and kissed Virgil's forehead. "I missed you," he whispered.

"I missed you more!" Virgil whisper-yelled, tears falling from his eyes. "You were gone for so long, we couldn't keep in contact, and I was so worried about you!"

"I know. I know. But I'm back, and I'm safe."

The two cuddled close together just enjoying each other's company.

Just so y'all know, I'm going to a festival, so I won't post for days. I might or might not post tomorrow. I'm leaving for the festival tomorrow, and don't get back tell like Sunday. I might not post again until Monday. Idk. As I said I might post tomorrow, but I might not depending on when I wake up.
