Chapter 1251

"Say that again?"

Gabby's POV: When I heard Jesse say that she just tested positive for COVID, I was furious. I told her everything about my past and she knew how important this child was to us. We gave her strict instructions to stay home so that she wouldn't risk catching this. She isn't even vaccinated yet because we aren't positive it won't affect the baby. "Gabby, I am so sorry. My friend came over and gave me some food because she knew I couldn't go out. She came to use the washroom and promised me that she was negative."

I then sighed when she said that. "I understand. We all have blinders when it comes to wanting to believe our friends." Jesse then sighed. "Listen, I am going to fight this and I will keep you updated. I just had to tell you in person. I wanted you guys to be able to see my face and understand that I am truly sorry." Mat that then walked up to me and nodded, sighing. "Listen...we have some friends at Chicago Med. Go there and we will ask them to treat you."

Jesse sighed and nodded. "I promise. I am not going to let you guys lose this child. Remember, I know your story Gabby. I know exactly why I am doing this for you guys. Believe me when I say to you that I would never put your child in danger when you've already lost a couple. You have to believe me when I say that Gabby." I nodded and sighed. "Of course I do. Sorry, just scared." Jesse nodded. "Listen, let me just get over this and we can talk about what this means."

Matt then got nervous. "What do you mean?" Jesse then sighed. "I know you guys said that you trust me to live independently and I really appreciate that. However, if you guys are having second thoughts and regrets about that...then I will do whatever you want." I turned to Matt and nodded. "We will talk about it. But listen, right now...you just go to Chicago Med and I will make sure you get treatment. Jesse, concentrate on yourself right now." Jesse nodded and sighed.

"I am so sorry once again." I nodded and understood. "Stay safe you guys." Jesse then walked away to get car to make her way to med. Meanwhile, I turned to look at Matt and walked over to him. I then went to hug him and got scared. "Listen, can we just put this stuff away and then we can go relax in bed? I just need to think this over and try and not get all worried about this. I mean...." Matt just nodded and pushed my head up. He then kissed me before smiling.

"Gabby, Jesse is a young girl and is going to make it through this with flying colors. She came and told us, that's the good thing. And she is going to get treatments. Let's just pray for it okay? Let's hope she makes it out of this positively." Wrapping my arms around him, I then sighed. "Let me help with the groceries and then we can go relax in bed. I want to just lay down there and cuddle up to my guys as we play together." Matt then nodded and agreed with me, knowing it was exactly what I needed right now.
