One Chicago: Health First Part 4

Chapter 1264

2 Hours Later when Matt & Gabby are at the Hotel:
Matt's POV: As I walk into the hotel suite I booked for the next 2 nights, I smile as I looked at Gabby as she stands at the window which overlooks Lake Michigan. I could already tell that she was feeling relaxed based on the fact that she was already just wearing her socks rather than having kept her shoes on in the suite. Walking over her after setting our bags down on the bed, I smiled as I wrapped my arms around her and then kissed her shoulder. "I can already tell that this is exactly what we needed." Gabby then turned around and smiled as she looked at me.

"Thanks for paying for the early check in. I didn't expect that." I nodded and smiled while moving my hands to her hips. "Gabby, you should always expect that I will go the extra mile for you. I want to help you, I want to be there for you and I want to know you always have someone on your side other than your brother. I'm always going to be here for you Gabby. And if you need time away with just me, I am all for it." Gabby smiled when I said that before moving her arms around my neck. I then grabbed her back and just held her close as I kissed her softly.

Gabby then smiled as she kissed me too before pulling away and grabbing my hand. "Want to lay down in bed. I want to just take advantage of the quiet for a bit. I know we do it every night but..." I just stopped her and went to rub her arms. "Gabby listen, we are here so that you aren't stressed. Right now, you are stressing which is exactly what I don't want you to do. So listen, how about you lay down and I will unpack our things." I then went to grab her neck. "Then, I will come join you in bed so we can concentrate on each other like I promised."

Gabby smiled when I said that before kissing me. "Okay." I then smiled while wrapping my arms around her waist. Putting her hands on my arms as she laid her head down on my shoulder, Gabby teared up a bit and just wrapped her arms around my back. I then leaned back, confused as to why she was crying. "Hey, why are you crying?" Gabby then looked at me. "Our life is a mess yet, you just want to make me feel okay. How in the world is this normal for a husband to do that?" I then went to rub her cheek, wiping her tears away. "Believe me, it's normal Gabby."

Gabby then nodded as she looked at me. "I want to take a swim later. I brought my swimwear." I nodded and agreed. "Me too. That is probably going to help you relax." Gabby laughed and smiled. "It did last time we were at a hotel. Well, when we swam in the hotel pool. Not so much when we were at the beach." I smiled when she said that and nodded as she walked over to the bed and went to take off her shirt. I then went to grab our bags to get the stuff we needed out. I then saw that Gabby packed some sweats one of my shirts. "You want sweats and my t-shirt?"

Gabby then turned to look at me and nodded. "Yes please." I then got them from our bag before giving them to her. "Here, you just put that on and relax okay? I will finish this and then we will get comfortable in bed." Gabby smiled as she went to stand next to the bed before going to take off her jeans. That's when I saw she was wearing very little underwear. Biting my lip, I just shook my head. "Unless of course you would rather do something else before we get dressed?" Gabby turned to look at me and laughed. "What were you thinking?" 

I then smirked as I walked over to the door and went to grab the 'DO NOT DISTURB' sign. Putting it outside, I then moved to take off my shirt while walking over to her. Throwing it onto the ground, I then grabbed her waist and brought her close to my chest. "I think this is what you want to do." Gabby then nodded as she wrapped her arms around my waist. I then grabbed her neck and kissed her slowly, needing her to know that I am here for her. "Pants" Gabby then nodded as she went to grab my belt. Undoing it before helping me with my pants, I smirked.

That's when I picked her up in my arms and then wrapped her legs around my waist while opening the covers to the bed. Laying her down, I then smiled as I got in on top of her before closing the covers. I then grabbed her neck and leaned down to kiss her. "God, I love you and I hope that you know that Gabby." Gabby nodded as she grabbed my neck. "I know that Matt, I always have and always will." She then moved her hand to my back and rubbed it. I smiled when she did that and was about to lean down and kiss her again when her phone rang.

I then groaned as I rolled over onto my back and looked at her. "Who is it?" Gabby then looked around for her phone. "On the ground in my pants." I then nodded while getting up before grabbing it. I then saw it was Antonio and nodded. "Here, it's Antonio. I will get us unpacked and then we will pick up where we left off." Gabby smirked and agreed as she went to pick up. "Hey Antonio, what's up?" I then smiled as she started to talk to her brother. Meanwhile, I went back to our bags and started to unpack.
