Meanwhile, with Will & Natalie:
Will's POV:
After hanging up with my brother, I sighed as I made my way out of our bedroom and into the washroom with Nat. That's when I saw her in front of the toilet. I then bent down and moved to rub her back. "I love that you are pregnant Nat, but this has to be the one thing I hate about it. Seeing you go through this is hard." Natalie then turned her head and smiled at me. "Can you get me my anti-nausea pills in the medicine cabinet?" I nodded and agreed, getting up to go grab them. I then got a couple out for her as well as some water.

Walking back over to her, I moved to give her the meds before giving her the glass of water. "I swear, it seems like this morning sickness has gone on longer than last time around and is worse." I sighed when she said that. "Well, we can't confirm that yet because you are not done your first trimester yet. However, you are almost there. With the baby due in 7 months, we are nearing 12 weeks." Natalie sighed and nodded. "Thanks for counting. Still don't get how we aren't having twins because of how big I am."

I sighed and looked at her. "You want me to get the ultrasound machine and double check that we aren't having twins?" Natalie shook her head. "No, I am not going to worry about that right now. However, you are going to help me back to bed and let me rest for a while. Also, you are going to have to make Owen breakfast now because he is awake." I then turned around to look at Owen. "Hey Owen, your mom just isn't feeling good again." He then nodded and walked over to Natalie to hug her. "Thanks Owen."

Owen then smiled at her before looking up at me. "Breakfast?" I nodded and agreed. "How about you go relax in front of the TV and let me get dressed? Once I am dressed, I will come make you some toast." He agreed and smiled before running away to go watch TV. Natalie then looked up at me. "This summer, be prepared to be outside a lot. I am not going to let him watch TV as much when it's nice out because he is watching way too much TV right now." I agreed and nodded. "Well Natalie, that is going to be hard since you're on mat leave starting in July."

Natalie then groaned and remembered that. "I know, that's the hard part of all this. I want to be home with him yet...I need to keep myself healthy. By the way, what are your plans for around that time?" I decided to help her up before I answered and then wrapped my arm around her back. "I am going to work for as long as possible because we are going to need some money. I want you to take the extra leave considering you are going to be stressed all throughout the pregnancy and when the baby's born. Hopefully COVID will be better by then."

Natalie agreed and sighed when I said that before going to hug me. I then kissed her softly. "Listen, let's get you back in bed and then I can put some clothes on." Natalie agreed and followed me back to the bedroom.

Natalie's POV:
Once Will helped me back to bed, I smiled when he helped me in and then covered me up. I then saw him sit down next to me and smiled while looking down at me. He then bent down and kissed me softly. "Feel better okay? You deserve time to relax and I promise to try and keep Owen calm. Maybe we can watch some Disney movies today. It's too cold to play outside." I agreed and sighed. "Remind me why we live in Chicago again?"

Will smiled when I said that. "Because it's our hometown." Will then got up and walked over to his closet to grab some sweats and a t-shirt. Once he was dressed, he looked at me. "Now, if you get any worse...are you okay if I call Helen? I can always ask her to watch Owen and I can concentrate on you for a while if you want." I sighed when he said that. "Will, that is not ever happening anymore. I've been meaning to say something but haven't yet."

Will then looked at me confused. "What's wrong?" I sighed. "Will, Owen isn't just my son anymore. You adopted him. So, it's not like you can just ask Helen to watch him whenever I am sick and be my doting, caring boyfriend. You are his dad and that means you need to balance both taking care of your sick wife in bed and also taking care of your son. It's going to be the same when the baby's born. I am going to be recovering in here while Owen is at home."

I agreed and nodded. "We transferring him to home schooling or is he going back when Christmas break is over?" I sighed and hadn't even considered that yet. "I need to talk to Helen about that. That's the one part that I will allow her to watch him. If she can come here everyday and watch him while he does school. Then yes, I would be much more comfortable with that. But I want to make that decision soon." Will agreed and nodded.

"We can talk about it whenever you want. Maybe you can spend today reading up on the options. It's really going to be your choice in the end Natalie." I shook my head again. "No Will, it is going to be our choice. We are in this together." Will smiled when I said that. "Just making sure you aren't going to go back on your commitment to me being treated as his dad. That means from now on...I expect you to go along with my decisions. You want me to treat him as his legal father...then I expect you to do the same. That means no second guessing my decisions about him. Do you trust me enough to do that?"

I nodded and smiled. "Of course I do Will. Plus, you will never do anything that will make me mad. Remember, I am still on the fence about giving you a second biological child. Just remember, I am okay with two kids." Will agreed and smiled when I said that. "I am too. Natalie, I know how much you struggled to balance being a great mom to Owen and your career. Now, we are going to have 2 kids and our careers. I am okay with 2 kids....it's why I adopted Owen." Natalie smiled when I said that. "Okay, now go relax out there. I might sleep again."

Will agreed and then walked over to me, kissing my forehead softly. "I'll be back with some cereal or something okay? You need to eat at least a protein shake." I agreed and smiled. "The shake sounds better. Might be easier to get down and keep down." Will agreed again and smiled. "Of course. Now, I will be back." Will then kissed my head again before walking away to go make Owen and me some breakfast.
