Meanwhile, at the District as Jay & Erin stand in their office with Lucky:
Jay's POV: As I walk into the office with Lucky, I smile as I set down her new dog bed that we just purchased on her way here. I'm going to keep it in the office since I don't want to bring one back and forth every day. That's when I saw Ruzek walk to my door, looking at both me, Erin and Lucky. "Well, if it isn't the third pregnant couple here at CPD intelligence. You guys have been out long enough." Erin then turned around and smiled before going to hug him. "How's Kim doing?"

Adam then laughed. "She's great. How about you? You look like you're ready to be a mom with you wearing those jogging pants that look like jeans." Erin then looked at him. "How could you tell?" Adam laughed again. "I've had to buy Kim a few pairs. By the way, who's this little guy?" Ruzek was about to bend down and pet her when I stopped him. "Adam, stop. We are about to fill in everybody about it. She is not to be touched. Is that understood?" Adam then got scared.

Erin then looked at me and told me to breathe. "Adam, she's a service dog." Ruzek then understood and nodded. "Right, I read the e-mail." That's when I saw Voight walk in. "You guys ready to introduce the newest member of the team to everybody else?" I agreed and smiled. "Ruzek already know. But, he didn't read the e-mail." Hank then turned to look at him. "Ruzek! Do you know realize what that vest means?" Adam then saw it and sighed. "Sorry guys."

That's when I heard Kim walk over. "Seriously Adam, did you already get in trouble with your supervisors right when they came in for the first time in months. What did he do Erin? I can give him bloody hell for you guys." I then shook my head. "No, it's okay Kim. I got it. Anyways, it's my first change to act in my new role where I am his new supervisor." Adam then groaned when I said that. "Right, you are now heading up Undercover Operations." I smirked and nodded. That's when I started to walk out to the bullpen. "Okay everybody I know we are all on cases right now but, we need to speak to you guys quickly."

Atwater, Burgess, Mouse, Rojas, Ruzek and Upton then all went to sit at their desks. "As you all can probably tell...there is a new member here at the unit that is joining us. Everybody, I want you to meet Lucky." Then they all looked at him and smiled. Upton was the first to comment. "God, he's adorable." I then smiled at her. "She is going to be with us from now on. However, there are rules. While she will be work here at the CPD as a police dog...she is my personal police dog as she is also my service dog to help me with my PTSD."

Mouse then looked at me and nodded. "How bad is it man?" I then sighed and looked at him. "We'll talk in private sometime okay? Not something I want to speak about." Mouse nodded and understood. We are brothers-in-arms and can understand each other very well since we are both ex-military. However, Ruzek seemed confused as to why we can't fill everybody in. "Jay, c'mon man. We're family here at intel. You can fill us in." I then looked at Ruzek. "Ruzek, I have told you that it's personal and confidential. It is health related!"

Erin then saw I was getting frustrated and went to rub my back. "Babe, relax." I then nodded and sighed. "Sorry, just hard to explain. It's why she's here and I would rather not have to explain it. It's related to my time in Afghanistan. So, can we just leave it at that." Everybody nodded and agreed. "That's all you needed to say man." I then turned to look at Burgess. "Burgess, I don't have time to deal with him. You are to talk to him about it okay? Just straighten him out? You know...use your pregnant woman ways to straighten him out."

Both Erin and Burgess then yelled at me, not happy. "Hey!" I then turned to look at Erin and gave her my signature glare. "Babe, you know it's true. You can literally get me to do anything just by giving me a certain look." Erin then smirked and nodded. "Amongst other things." I then smirked when she said that. "Okay, now back to the rules related to this little one here. First, like I said...her name is Lucky and she is my personal police dog for PTSD. Me and Erin are the only 2 people here at the district who are able to touch her."

They all nodded and understood. "She will join me on raids but, she will stay in the car. She is also trained to follow me. If you see her doing that, just let me know. We are still training her around here. But, if you see her at the stairs...tell me and maybe you can take her to the washroom." I then turned to look at Hank. "I promise, she's trained not to go inside." Hank nodded and understood. "I trust you Halstead. Just relax and let her do her job." We both nodded. "Now, let's get to work on a case. Lucky, bed."

Lucky then grabbed her leach and walked away to go sit on her bed in me and Erin's office. "Mouse, we can talk together on lunch. Now, you guys have all had to vaccine so...I am going to relax. However, I am still cautious around Erin. She's here because we are all vaccinated. Yet, I would rather not take chances when it comes to getting too close. Please understand." They all nodded and smiled. "Okay, now what's the case we got boss man?" Hank then walked over to the board and turned it around.

"Fake COVID vaccine ring from our friends in South Chicago. We have sources that say it might be other illegal substances that we are dealing with. I am leading this case and Rojas will be also be helping me lead the case as she is currently the interim Deputy Head for Drug cases. Sorry if I don't use your full title." Rojas then nodded and understood. She then walked over to the board and continued. "Do you mind if I continue with the presentation then Voight?" Voight nodded.

"Okay, so we have suspected that the meth is coming from Mexico through illegal channels but, is being transported in vans that look like vans that are transporting the real vaccines. However, we have not had any information where they are going. However, they could be going anywhere. That includes COVID vaccination sites at McCormick Place and Walgreens in downtown Chicago. I have set up meetings with the two heads of those vaccination sites. Ruzek and Burgess, you guys can go inform Walgreens. Jay, how about you go do McCormick Place since it's a Federal Vaccination Site. See if they have any information you can gather with your security clearance."

I liked the sound of that and smiled. "Sure thing." I then went to grab the case file and looked at Hank. "Erin? She coming with me or...." Hank then thought about it when I heard Erin come out. "I want to be there with you for your first case with Lucky in case she goes crazy. She's still in training. Until she's good...I want to be there." I nodded and agreed. "Then that's settled. Hank, she's on my quad." I then turned to look at everybody else. "Atwater, I want you to go talk to hospitals in Chicago. Except for Med. I am going to take care of them considering my brother is there." Hank then smiled and liked how I was dealing with this.

"What do I do? Just sit back and relax." I then turned to look at him. "You can get your questions ready. I know that's your real favorite part of the job. However Voight, there is going to be changes around here. We are done with the pit." Hank then stared at me. "Excuse me?" I then sighed and looked at him. "Hank, you get really worked up down there. You already had a mini stroke. I'm sorry but, I am saying this as your son-in-law. You need to relax when it comes to getting worked up like that. Please Hank. I am not telling you to do it but, just consider it."

Hank sighed and agreed. "I will get my questions ready. However, if they hurt Erin...all questions are off. Is that understood?" I looked at him. "If they hurt Erin, they are going to have a huge bite mark in their leg." I then looked down at Lucky and snapped my fingers. "Lucky." She then walked over with her leach and nodded. "She's going to be good. Let's go." Erin then nodded and walked out with me, ready to go do her first case in a while." I smiled while grabbing her hand and intertwining our fingers as I prepared to head to Med.
