Erin's POV: When I heard Steve call me a 'Hot Shot' I could tell that Jay was staring at him. I then moved to stand close to him and wrapped my arm around his back. "Jay, relax. It's a nickname I got because of how good I was at shooting." Steve then looked at me. "I still was better. Shot 19/25 last time we shot together." I laughed when he said that. "24/25." Jay then turned to look at me and smirked. "That's my girl." He then gave me a high five and smiled when he went to sit down at his desk. "So, why exactly are we being graced with your presence?"

Steve sighed when he asked. "Your Chicago case is not the only case like this. We have just heard of a similar case in Seattle and New York. I called CPD and said Intelligence would be the best team to lead this. So, I decided to come and tell you guys that we are working on this together or we are taking over. However, I would definitely like to work together on this because it would give me a chance to work with Erin on this case." I smiled when he said that. "I would love that." I then turned to look at Jay. "We are going out to supper with him later just FYI."

Jay then nodded. "Sure, would love to hear about your stories at the FBI in New York City." I then rolled my eyes when he said that before looking at Steve. "You tell him nothing." Steve then smirked at me. "Like the time where you got wasted and then went to a Broadway show, singing along to every single song until you had to get escorted out by Olivia Benson herself." Jay then laughed when he said that. "Oh my god. That's hilarious. Please tell me you recorded that." I then turned to look at him. "One more word, you sleep downstairs!"

Jay then shut up and got scared. That's when Lucky started to see he got nervous before jumping up on top of him and licked his face. Jay laughed when she did that before smiling. "Thanks girl, go lay down. Daddy's okay." Lucky then went to lay down and curled up at his feet. "Let me guess, veteran?" Jay looked at Steve, shocked when he said that. "Yeah, how could you tell?" Steve then smiled. "Kandahar. 2004-2005 and 2009-2010." Jay seemed a bit shocked when he said that and smiled. "Oh my god, that's where I Recognize you. Burnsout"

Steve seemed to be shocked when he heard that name and then recognized Jay. "Halsie?" Jay then laughed and got up before getting up and going to hug him. "Dude, I am so sorry about that." Steve then laughed and nodded. Hank just seemed confused. "How do you know him?" I then smiled. "Kandahar tours in 2004-2005 and 2009-2010." We both laughed and smiled. "So, I guess I met you before I met your wife. Well, girlfriend at the time."

I nodded and smiled. "Listen, we need to have you over sometime." Steve nodded and agreed. "Back to the case I guess?" Hank then nodded. "Calm down Halstead." Jay then agreed while I walked over to him. "Okay, that was crazy. First you're jealous then you know him." Jay looked up at me and smiled. "Sorry. Listen, let's just get to work." I then nodded while walking into my office. "Steve, you can take Jay's desk out there. He can work in here with me." Jay then nodded as he grabbed his stuff before walking into the office. "C'mon Lucky."

Lucky then got up and went to follow Jay into my office. Jay then closed the door and looked at me while moving to sit down at the desk that was right in front of mine. "I expect to get some embarrassing army stories from him when we invite him over to dinner." Jay nodded and agreed, smiling. "Sorry about the jealousy." I understood and smiled. "Just relax okay, I am your wife. Now listen, let's work on this case with Burnsout." Jay smiled and nodded.

That's when he came in. "That reminds me, shouldn't you guys be here for the briefing." Jay then looked up and realized that. "Sorry, just got a lot on the brain." Steve then nodded as he got his stuff out and went to get ready to present to us. I then looked at Jay. "Relax okay?" Jay nodded and agreed as he got up. "Lucky, stay." Lucky then nodded and just laid back down. Meanwhile, me and Jay walked back out to the briefing area. "Sorry about that Hank."

Hank then nodded. "Nice to meet your friend here. He a good detective?" Jay then nodded as he went to lean against the wall while I went to sit down. I then started to listen to Agent Burns start the case. "Okay, so you obviously got intel from your commanders. However, I am going to update this. We want to let you know that while it is true that we are getting stuff through Texas...we are also getting it through Florida. They have been crossing the Gulf of Mexico on ships and landing in Tampa. It then goes up the east coast."

We all nodded and agreed. "So, do we know whether our shipments are only land or if they also come through Tampa?" Burns then looked at me. "That's why we have to work this together. We have no clue whether it is the same group or different groups who just pay each other fees to use ports. However, one part of the investigation where you have complete control is the Chicago Prostitution ring. And if you don't mind me asking. I heard that there was a guy here that has a brother-in-law who helped with a case. Might I ask which one?"

Antonio then spoke up. "My brother-in-law's name is Matthew Casey. He worked on one in a construction site. Nadia and a notebook." Steve then nodded. "I remember that case. I was working on the New York part of that investigation. Home everything worked out okay. He okay?" Antonio smiled and nodded. "Yes, and expecting his second child with his wife?" Voight then turned to look at Antonio, shocked. "He got your sister pregnant again?"

Antonio then shook his head. "Surrogate. Now listen, we can celebrate that later. Let's get to work since we all know Agent Burns here. We worked together too on that case." Burns then went to take over the case. "Can I speak with you Voight and we can work out the details on how we will work and how many officers you will allow us in here. We need to split it up since I might need to bring some FBI here to work with you." When I heard that, I got nervous. "Burns?"

Burns then turned to look at me. "Yeah Erin?" I then sighed. "Can you keep your unvaccinated agents out of here? I am pregnant and so is Antonio's fiancé." Burns then nodded and agreed when Hank looked at me. "Of course Erin, we will always protect you." I smiled and nodded. "Now listen, if you need me...I am going to sit in the office. As much as I want to say that I am okay with being a normal intelligence officer...I am also a pregnant one that needs to sit down." Everybody then nodded as I walked back into Jay's office to sit down.

He then followed me and smiled, knowing that we were going to have to talk about what just happened out here. I mean, from the jealousy to him knowing Agent Burns. That can't happen when we eventually take over the unit. He needs to relax.
