Chapter 1167

Matt's POV: Once Diego left to go deliver the food, I looked at Hermann and smiled. "Hey Hermann, you give Leon my order while I was on my way here?" Hermann then stared at me and sighed. "Sorry. Leon!" Leon then looked through the window and listened for an order. "BLT with Side Caesar for Matt." He agreed and turned to look at me. "Sure thing boss." He then went to get to work and chuckled. "How about a lemon water too Hermann?" I then decided to move to the bar so I could grab it since I was on the clock.

Hermann then made it for me and nodded. "You didn't eat before you left didn't you?" I shook my head. "Why eat the food at my place when I can get better food here prepared for me by a chef?" He laughed and agreed. "Now I get why you always eat here on shift. Less time in the kitchen and more time in the living room or the bedroom." Joe then smirked at me because he was thinking Hermann meant sexually. I then glared at him. "Joe, snap out of it. He means playing with Matteo on the bed! Sheesh, you need to calm down man."

Joe then laughed and agreed. "You sound like my wife." I then looked at him. "Cruz, you're going to be a dad to triplets. That's 2 more kids than I am raising right now. However, not by the end of the year considering we are going to be doing surrogacy." Hermann then smiled and agreed. "You going to be okay with twins or triplets if that's what the surrogate gets pregnant with?" I turned to look at him and nodded. "This is our last pregnancy anyways. We only want one natural and one surrogacy."

That's when I saw Leon come out and smiled at me. "Congrats on the baby Mr. Casey." I then looked at him. "Leon, relax. I may be one of your bosses but we expect our staff to treat us like family. So, Matt is fine." Leon nodded and agreed. "Good, because I am not too sure how I was going to address your wife if she ever came." I laughed and smiled. "She's Dawson at work." Hermann then turned to look at me. "Still don't get how some men are okay with women keeping their maiden name. Maybe it's just because I've been married over 20 years."

I nodded and smiled. "I hope that this time, me and Gabby last 20 years." He agreed and smiled. "After all the shit you've been through...you guys deserve it." I smiled and nodded when I heard the phone ring. Hermann then went to grab it. "Molly's." He then went to take an order. "Of course, 2 chicken caesar wraps and a big caesar salad right up Mr. Cordova. At the firehouse." I then smiled when he said that. "Dibs on that run!" Hermann then looked at me confused. "Why?" 

I laughed and smiled at him. "He's Gabby's ex. I already met his wife once so they know me. They also know we have Matteo so they both know that we are safe." He nodded and understood. "Then finish eating and then you can take it to Firehouse 87." I nodded and agreed as I went to eat. That's when I saw the kitchen working in the back to make the salad. I glad I had a good 5 minutes before it was ready because I was hungry. Yet at the same time, I could eat too fast because it was unhealthy.

However at the end, I was ready to go to Firehouse 87 to see Jake and his wife.
