Jay's POV: After taking a shower and getting changed to go to Molly's, I smiled as I came back out to see the girls laughing with Matt. "Let me guess, you guys aren't happy that I took a shower?" Erin then turned to look at me and sighed. "Preferably, you would've waited until we get home but...we are going to a restaurant." I then walked up to her and smiled as I grabbed her hand. I then intertwined our fingers while looking at Matt and Gabby. "You guys are positive that Hermann knows we are coming?" Matt then nodded. "He's making your food right now."

Gabby then added on. "It will be ready for you to take home once we are there." Me and Erin then looked at each other and now understood what the real plan was. "Okay, we thought we were staying there to eat. But, I guess that makes more sense now." Matt sighed and looked at him. "We get you want to stay but, it's different. We are in a social bubble with everybody there. We still wear masks with each other except when we are boxing." I then nodded and realized that both Matt and Gabby were now wearing their masks. I then went to grab mine and put it on.

Erin smiled when I did that and then rubbed my hand. "So, you guys are going to work at the restaurant tonight?" Matt turned to look at Gabby and nodded. "Yes, I am doing delivery while Gabby works in the kitchen. Trust me when I say this, you do not want me in the kitchen. She cooks way better than me." Gabby laughed and nodded. "That is very true. But, he's pretty descent at the easy meals. He is going to be great when Matteo starts eating solids. He can make a mean grilled cheese. Oh, and your eggs aren't that bad babe. So, don't say that."

Matt then smiled and nodded as he went to kiss her forehead softly. "Listen, we need to head to the restaurant. Now, do you know where the key goes? Because I do." I nodded and smiled. "Yeah, I know where it goes. Antonio worked it out with the buyer that CPD could still use it whenever we wanted. It was part of the contract." Gabby then laughed a bit. "You guys don't know who bought it from him do you?" I then shook my head. "It was Laura. She bought it so that Diego could keep coming here and eventually run it until Antonio came back."

I was shocked when Gabby said that. "Wait, so now they are business partners?" Gabby shook her head. "No, Antonio bought it back from her. Trust me, that would be a disaster. I mean, think about it. Him and his ex-wife being in business while also being married to another woman." I then bit my lip and agreed. "Okay, that definitely would  be really awkward." Erin smiled when I said that and then nodded. "Listen, can we get going and get the food. This little one is getting hungry for something to eat. And so am I." Erin then winked at me and I smirked.

Gabby then glared at Erin. "Okay, I get you are hormonal but please...can you not do that in front of Matteo? I already have to deal with one person who speaks that way in front of him. I don't want him talking that way to girls he wants to date." Matt then looked at her. "Hey! Not my fault I can't speak spanish." Gabby glared at him. "Fine, it kinda is. Maybe I should learn it to make sure that this little guy here never swears at me considering I am positive that you are going to teach him a few spanish swear words when he is older."

Gabby then smiled and nodded. "Listen, how about you guys go ahead of us? Just go relax at the restaurant. We need to stop at home first. Get this guy some toys and diapers for Cindy. She's going to take him to her place so we can work there tonight." Erin was confused when Gabby mentioned the name 'Cindy'. "Okay, who exactly is that? Is that code or one of your normal babysitters?" Gabby then realized why she was confused. "Oh sorry, I meant Hermann's wife. You know, the new captain at Firehouse 51." Erin the nodded and agreed, understanding.

We all nodded and then started to walk out together. Matt then looked at me. "By the way, I heard rumors that somebody else in intelligence is expecting their first child?" Erin then nodded. "Yeah, our friends Adam Ruzek and Kim Burgess." Gabby smiled when I brought up Kim. "Oh, I love her. I've been dancing with her at the clubs before." Matt then turned to look at Gabby, a bit confused. "When?" Gabby then sighed. "Breakup #2." Matt then thought about it and remembered when that was. He then nodded and smiled at Gabby.

Erin then looked at them. "How many breakups have you had?" Gabby then sighed. "3 breakups, 1 divorce." I sighed when she said that. "That's rough. Hey...at least you guys are back together for good this time." Matt then smiled at Gabby and nodded. "Yes, we are." Gabby then rubbed his arm as we all walked out together. I then turned to look at them. "See you guys at the bar?" Matt nodded and smiled at us. "Yes. See you later." Gabby then went to lock up Antonio's gym for us.

We then went our separate ways, with me leading Erin to our truck. "I am glad they are back together. They deserve each other. They are really good together." Erin smiled and agreed when I said that. I then smiled when we got to the truck and sighed. "I keep forgotten but, we are eventually going to get an SUV or something." Erin laughed when I said that. "Why do you think I am letting you enjoy driving the truck for a while? Once we have her, it's goodbye truck. Hello SUV. I prefer that to a van anyways. At least until we get pregnant with a second kid."

I then turned to look at her and smiled. "How long are we thinking for age difference?" Erin then sighed and felt my hand on her stomach while I opened the back door and went to put my bag in. I then closed the door and held Erin close. "Maybe a year and a half to 3 years apart. Depends on when Hank is going to retire." I agreed. "Then, when she's born and we've had a bit of time of learning how to be parents...I say we ask Hank when he plans to retire and that can determine the timeline." Erin nodded and agreed as she looked up at me.

"At least a year and a half okay? Not any sooner than that." I agreed and nodded before going to kiss Erin softly. "That include the pregnancy or without the pregnancy?" Erin then laughed. "Why, you want to get me pregnant 6 months after she's born?" Jay smirked and nodded. "I don't want to put a timeline. Let's just leave it up to faith okay? Faith has always been on our side after all. I mean, you are back with me now." Erin smiled when I said that and then moved to kiss me softly. "Let's get home okay? I want to take a shower."

I then smirked and nodded as I went to give her the keys. Erin then stared at me. "You serious?" I smiled and nodded. "You need to drive sometimes." Erin then smiled as she went to get in the truck. Meanwhile, I went back to my original place in the passenger seat as we prepared to head home together.
